After living 3 months in a fantasy world where not only was Barry's life full of simple things, no dangers, no having to fight evil speedsters or treats he had discovered how he was starting to forget hes real life , forcing him not only to release the evil he had captured, The reverse Flash hes moms killer but also to relieve the pain of losing her parents he return to hes life or so he thought. That morning after waking up in hes house he found Joe having hes morning coffee to him it seemed like everything was normal but soon he would find out just how much hes life had changed. "Morning" Joe said as he sip hes coffee "You should do that fast thing we need to head to the crime scene , Alberts already there" Hes eyebrows joined in a face of confusion he just simply nodded and speed up to hes room where in less than 2 min he was already shaved, showered and dressed "Lets go" Barry said as he walked out with Joe towards the car. He checked hes phone and there was a text from Iris "I'll see you for dinner meeting the New Boss today , love Iris " He smiled softly and Joe had hes eyes on the road .
Joe knew the text was from Iris but he also knew she was keeping hes distance and rather not get much into it, "I know you hate it when the Captain asigns you a case with Julian Bar, but try to stay professional and you will both survive without killing each other" Joe joked as Barry tried to pretend understanding it all, arriving at the crime scene Julian Albert was finishing taking samples from the death body "I told the Captain I didint need any help specially from him" Julian spoke yet hes eyes remain on the victim , Barry lowered to hes height and examin the body "Do you have any idea what could have cause this" Julian rolled hes eyes as if Barry had asked the dumbest question ever "See what I mean" . Barry rose and turned hes back on Julian to speak with Joe "How can I work with this guy?" Joe looked at him "Just try, Captains orders".
Later that day Barry heard hes alarm on trouble and headed towards Starlabs "What we got guys? " Barry asked already on hes suit and looking into the monitors , Cisco was a bit distant from him "Its an armed robbery " The flash handled the situation in a sec and came back excited , He soon saw Caitlin entering with a smile as she hanged up her phone "Alright, I'll see you for lunch " She was all laughs and when she approached she cleared her throat "Hi Barry, surprise to see you here ..Is everything alright?" Barry looked confused "Why wouldnt I be here?" She looked at Cisco and back to him "No reason" He decided to brush the subject off "Actually I've got a sample I think you could help me with" She smiled sweetly "Of course, follow me" She had her own lab and as he stepped in she looked at him "I thought you were gonna give Cisco some space Barry, I know you miss him but its still too recent" He arched hes eyebrows "What do you mean Cait?" She sigh breathing softly "Its been just 1 month since you couldnt stop the trickster from killing Dante". He tried not to show much surprise just nodding .
It was a nerving day for Iris she was just moving ahead on her journalist career when her boss had been changed he didint knew him and part of her felt curious yet another scared , what if the boss didint like her , as soon as the tall man walked in he looked gorgeous hes eyes , hes smile she was of course dating Barry but she couldnt help feel dazzled by him, the table was surrounded by her fellow journalism, he walked in and standing looked at them all with a smile "Good Afternoon, My name is Mr Thawne, Im the new Boss as they say, I know you've all heard of my reputation to be extremely demanding I can assure you its all talk but I do need a team that can give me results and news, articles worth the front page" .Not long after the meeting was over she by pass him "Miss West Right? " Iris smiled brightly nodding "Look forward to reviewing your next paper".
Barry had just finished a long day of trying to work with Julian Albert, hes not so new yet new to him CSI partner, soon he saw a blur of black bypass him, he could recognize the kind of wind that had passed him it was a speedster, but as far as he knew he was the only speedster. Changing into hes suit he followed him but soon lost track of him , he was indeed very fast which made him question where did he came from, a thunder soon fell on top of a building as he speed up he saw a man in a robe with a mask and gloves he seemed to be channeling the weather to hes own advantage "Flash, We finally meet" Barry looked at him feeling concerned of hes motives "Who are you? What do you want?" He raised hes hands and yet another thunder fell before him "You will learn it soon" He then dissapear leaving Barry even more confused. In the lab Cisco was about to Close when Caitlin turned the table to look at him "If you want to join us for dinner, wed love to have you" He smiled softly but nodded "Its fine Caitlin dont worry. Im just glad your over Barry at last" She looked away with an attempt of a bluffing smile "What? I was never into Barry" She raised from the chair and turn her back on Cisco "Anyway I have to go, Night" He waved goodbye watching her leave he raised hes phone and made a call "I'll do it, Just how do I know you will keep your word"
