Cassidy's POV
"Well, I was thinking... yes." Hunter said slowly. "Are you serious?" I asked. "Yeah, do you not want me to?" Hunter asked. "No, I'm, I'm just in shock that your actually sending that demo to Nashville." I sputtered. "Well, I hope you are ok with it, because I'm sending it." Hunter said, smiling. "It's ok, but how did you know I sang before today?" I asked, totally confused about that. "Oh, Bethany and Julie hear you sing in the shower all the time. They just happened to tell me." he said, laughing. "Oh, their going to get it tomorrow." I mumbled.
"Do you want to stay for supper?" Hunter asked. "Sure, what are you having?" I asked. "I think burgers and potatoes, but I'm not sure." he replied. "Ok, well I'm always up for a meal that has potatoes!" I said, laughing. "I take it you like potatoes?" Hunter asked, laughing with me. "I sure do!" I exclaimed.
"Hunter, dinner is ready!" Lynette yelled up the stairs. "Ok, we'll be right down!" Hunter yelled back. "Let's go, it smells good down their!" Hunter said, lifting me up.
"Will you be joining us tonight Cassidy?" Lynette asked. "Yeah, is that ok?" I asked. "It's perfectly fine, I'll go get you a plate." Lynette said, smiling. "Thank you." I said, flashing a smile in her direction.
"Here you go Cassidy. I hope you like it!" Lynette said, placing my plate in front of me. Supper was just what Hunter had said, burgers and potatoes. "Thank you Lynette." I said. "Your very welcome. By the way, this is Leo, my husband and Hunter's father." Lynette said, pointing to Leo. "Hi, I'm Cassidy Taylor." I said. "Hi Cassidy, I'm Leo, as you already know." he said, stifling a laugh.
"Thank you so much for supper, Lynette." I said, smiling. "Your welcome Cassidy, I hope you know you're welcome here anytime!" Lynette said, before clearing off the table. "Alright!" I said, smiling.
"Hey Hunter, you should have Sam and Devo come over!" I said. "Ok, I'll text them." Hunter said.
Hunter's POV
I took out my phone and composed a text for Devo and Sam.
Me: Hey do you guys wanna come over?
D: Sure, I'll be over in 5
S: I'm on my way!
Me: Ok see you guys in a few!
"They'll be over in a few minuets." I said to Cassidy who was laying on my bed. "Ok. I can't wait to meet them!" she said, smiling. "You're going to love them. They are just like you, crazy." I said, laughing. "Hey, I like being crazy!" she defended. "Oh my gosh, I just got an awesome idea for a song!" I yelled running to find a piece of paper.
"I don't want easy, I want crazy." I mumbled to myself.
"I'm booking myself a one way flight, I gotta see the color in your eyes." Cassidy said from over on my bed. "Cassidy, you just gave me an idea for a song!" I exclaimed, writing all of my ideas down.
"I'm booking myself a one way flight, I gotta see the color in your eyes. And telling myself I'm gonna be alright, Without you baby is a waste of time.
Yeah, our first date, girl, the seasons changed, It got washed away in a summer rain. You can't undo a fall like this, 'Cause love don't know what distance is. Yeah, I know it's crazy
But I don't want "good" and I don't want "good enough", I want "can't sleep, can't breathe without your love". Front porch and one more kiss, it doesn't make sense to anybody else.Who cares if you're all I think about, I've searched the world and I know now, It ain't right if you ain't lost your mind. Yeah, I don't want easy, I want crazy. Are you with me baby? Let's be crazy." I sang, finding a melody.
