Chapter 7

Hunter's POV

"Hey Dann, I'm Hunter as you already know." I said, offering a small smile.

"So Hunter are you ready to start a career in country music?" Dann asked.

"Yes! I'm stoked!" I exclaimed.

Dann laughed at my excitement and asked, "Where are ya from?"

"Breaux Bridge, Louisiana." I said, smiling

"Wow. So it wasn't a long flight. So is she your girlfriend?" Dann asked, nudging me.

"Eww, Cassidy? That's gross man, she's like my sister! I don't think we would ever date. Anyways she would never like a music geek like me." I said, laughing.

"Ah, say what you wanna say, all I can tell ya is that y'all are going to be together before you know it." Dann said, smiling. "Anyways, wanna go meet your band members?"

"Sure! Lets go!" I said.

"Ok guys, listen up!" Dann announced. "This is Hunter. Hunter, these are your band mates. This is Matt, personally he's the weirdest, but he played bass. This is Sam, he'll play anything you want him to. Curly over there is Devin, he plays backup guitar. He also goes by Devo. And the other mop head is Steve, he's on the drums. And that's all of them. Guys, say hi to Hunter." Dann said.

"Hey Hunter. I'm Steve."

"Hey, I'm Matt."

"Hunter?" Devin and Sam asked.

"Devo? Sam? Is it really you guys?" I asked shocked.

"Yeah. When did you sign with Atlantic?" Sam asked.

"Yesterday. Guys, we've missed you in Breaux Bridge. Why did you guys move here?" I asked.

"I don't know. our parents made us. They said there were a lot of band opportunities here. And it looks like we both got a good one! Were working with you!" Devo said.

"Oh my gosh I never told you! Cassidy got signed to! I think she's still in the board room."

"Oh Dann can we go in there?" Matt asked.

"Um Matt, you don't even know her." Sam said, laughing.

"So I wanna meet her too!" Steve yelled running out of the room.

"Well y'all can go with mop head!" Dann yelled pushing us out of the room.

"C! Look who I found!" I yelled, walking in the room with Devo and Sam.

"Sam! Devin!" Cassidy squealed.

"Hey! Your leg is better!" Sam said, laughing.

"Very good young grasshopper!" she said, giggling. "Ahh! I missed you guys!"

"Guys watch out! Shes gonna--" I yelled attempting to warn them. "tackle you."

"Cassidy! Get off of us!" they both yelled.

"Nahh I'm good." she said, just laying on them.

"Cassidy, don't make us tickle you." Sam warned.

"Ahh! Hunter! Help me up!" she yelled, rolling off of Sam.

"Cassidy, come on. Lets go meet your band members!" Jenna said, ushering Cassidy out of the room.

"I'll catch up with you guys later!" she yelled before exiting the room.

"Hey guys, should we go find Matt? Does he get lost easily?" I asked suddenly worried.

"Oh, yeah, we should uh, probably go find him." Sam said.
