[Addison Damon]

I didn't sleep a last night. I don't think any of us did. The thunder and lightning was enough to keep us all awake anyways, but my nerves are what kept me twiddling my thumbs impatiently.

The concept of yesterday actually being a reality really had me in the edge of my seat. I spent hours contemplating on running back North but then I would look into my son's dark green eyes and every urge would keep me here in Chicago.

My ponytail swished around behind my head as I hurried up the steps of the pearly painted mansion. I knock while tugging on my shirt, pulling the hem from my belted pants. "Maid's service!" I shout into the white wood while running my tongue across my bottom lip anxiously.

"Addie? Come in Addie?" I hear a voice through my ear piece and immediately turn to the side. I shield my face from the front door where fast clicking heels came from further inside. The voice was deeper and through the piece I could have sworn it was him.

"I'm here." I whisper in response, keeping my eyes staring back towards my decorated maid's van. It sat on the curb with bright pink lettering claiming I was apart of Hollywood Cleaning, a facade from the West Coast of course.

"Liam told me you were still going through with the Lecky house."

I immediately puff up my cheeks at the clearer tone of voice this time. It was Benny through the ear piece. Although he did sound panicked which caused my heart to race. My nerves were already all over the place and hearing his voice made me curious as to why he was back home so soon.

"Addison I need you to get out of there right now it's not-"

"Hello? I didn't call for any maid service." I freeze.

Benny's voice was intercepted and suddenly there was a radio frequency buzzing through my ear piece. I scratch the side of my head, trying to pull the speaker out cautiously.

Ow, what's happening?

"Excuse me?"

I turn slowly and spot a taller woman. She was petite and blonde, a stereotypical image of a rich white woman in Naperville. I go ahead and straighten up, putting on another facade either way. Benny was trying to warn me about something but I don't need his input. I've proven to do better by myself for months now.

"It's a gift, free maid service for the afternoon ma'am." I say calmly as the woman's green eyes judge me up and down.

Her red painted lips were puckered in disbelief, "And from whom?" She ponders. Luckily I've done my research on her... I've done it on all of them.

"You're grandfather Martin, Ma'am. He sends his condolences." My lower my voice towards the end while glancing over my shoulder carefully.

Suddenly she perks up but not excitedly, "Pardon?" Her voice drops lower too as her eyes begin to scan the area nervously.

I act as if this was all a big secret that I shouldn't repeat and yet it was. I glance over my shoulder again and then turn back, cupping my mouth with a whisper, "He doesn't want me repeating this but I know it's about your divorce."

And drop in the black mail...

Her eyes widen more. Bingo!
