Waking up this time around was not as pleasant. I was zip-tied and laying on concrete. My head was pounding and blood ringing in my ears. My right shoulder was still in a lot of pain but Jax wasn't kind enough this time to leave me a sling for my arm. My hands were left out in front of me and my knees tucked in closely to my chest.

I guess this is what I get for trying to escape a fucking Russian marital artist, or spy or whatever the hell that woman was.

I moaned but not because of the pain, it was the immense about of defeat I had heavy in my heart. How did I end up in Jax's care? After Harry was arrested no one was able to track Jax down for years and suddenly on the most important night of my life he appears just outside my car doors. I was utterly defeated.

Jax played a role, he betrayed Harry- he betrayed all of us. He was a trader, he worked for Abel, the man after it all.

Wait- Abel.

I immediately flinch my body forward. I could barely move, being zip-tied and unable to stretch my legs. I begin to panic at the cuffs, struggling to even sit up. If Jax found me that means Abel wasn't far behind. They both have me and they both know that I am the one person who they know will lure him in. I can't let this happen. I needed to run and run fast!

I was beginning to grow frustrated, biting the corner of my cheek in hopes it will stop me from crying. But it was no use, I was alone on this one, trapped in a dark concrete box with no way out.

Moving across the floor hurt my shoulders and the zip ties only tightened the more I tried to fight against them. Once I was able to finally sit up against the back wall I was officially out of breath. My chest would heave in obscured patterns. My jagged breaths almost made it hard to even see straight. I was having a full on panic attack and needed to relax. I need a clear head if I want to get out of here.

After several minutes I am calm and suddenly the room that I'm in became something I hadn't realized before. The walls were claustrophobic, bare and it was dark. Double metal rods hung from one side to the other... I was shoved inside a closet.

The cracks through the door had a small amount of yellow glow. It flickered and then turned white, it was someone's TV screen but the room on the other side was silent. The door beside me could easily slide open, if I'm carefully I could probably crawl out of here. That is if I am alone in the room over.

I get to work quietly, holding my tied hands out in front of me and kicking my feet forward some. My sneakers were soaked in mud and my laces now dried in crusty flakes, but at least they were still intact. With my good arm I go ahead and pull one knot apart, carefully sliding the shoe lace through the loops of my zip-ties. As I shimmy the lace through noises start to become evident on the other side of the closet doors.

"How is she?" I immediately hear Jax's voice enter the room behind the closet doors. The TV screen dims behind the cracks and I hear another voice as a chair squeaks backwards across the floors.

I gulp, looking back at my hands. I begin to scramble with my laces, finally getting the first one through before going for my other shoe.
