[Addison Damon]
*

I was blissfully asleep tonight even after the terrible circumstances earlier this evening. My mind had wondered off after my song. My limbs still hanging over the edge of the crib, thinking that I was still holding my baby's tiny hand with my finger. I was in that state of dreaming where everything felt real and alive around me yet my entire body was still paralyzed in sleep. It wasn't a deep sleep but it was still peaceful. A kind of sleep that won't follow me ever again after tonight. I was dreaming of all the good things and at the worst time once Liam came charging through my baby's door in panic.

"Addison," His voice shook me half awake with a faint hiss. I could have brushed him off for one more minute but he seemed persistent. "C'mon Addison wake up." I felt his large hands take my shoulders and pin me back into the rocking chair. With that my eyes were opened immediately and blinking through the darkness.

I coughed several times, coming back to reality unwillingly. "Wh-"

Wait a second...

"What are you doing here?" My voice was unrecognizable in my groggy state.

"You need to run, now!" He kept his voice at a loud whisper while trying to pull me from my seat.

I shove him off of me anyways before leaning forward with my palms pressed to the arm rests. The baby began to stir in his sleep, pulling his purple printed blanket around in the crib with him, "Why?" I look to Liam before standing up to comfort my child.

Liam wasn't supposed to be here. I left him earlier to find the Lecky house and we both know that didn't end smoothly. He was supposed to be with Benny tonight and then to travel back up to Milwaukee in the early morning to continue stealing those loose parts that I needed. I would have guessed that he found some good pieces for trade but his behavior was too impatient and panicked.

He takes my arm and pulls me around with my back to the crib, "We told you not to go through with the Lecky house." He warned me again but I've heard this before.

I squint at the dark, finding his brown eyes golden against a faintly shinning moon behind us and through the window. "What's going on?" I question again.

He sighs, reaching over the side of the crib beside me and picking up the baby. I hold my arms out but he turns and walks out the door.

"Hey!" I shout after him, my voice causes my son to start crying, "Where are you going with him, Liam?"

I charge him but barely pass through the door frame as another silhouette blocks my path. My chest slams into his and I bounce back, flicking my dark hair from my eyes again. When I look up I see someone I would have never expected to see in person ever again. His white hair was much longer and tangled against his untrimmed beard. His glasses perched on the tip of his nose even displayed a reflection of my shocked face.

"I need you to grab what you can," It was Benny, his tall statue hovering over me even higher than Harry ever did. "The police are coming for you Addie."

"Does this have to do with the Lecky house?" I question with even more weakness in my throat.

From the living room I could still hear my son crying and Liam's soft hushes. Benny holds his arm out and presses into the door frame to block me from running towards them, "They know it was you; Julie Lecky had camera footage everywhere. They used your image to find you."
