[Harry Styles]
*Louis and Malia had led me into a separate room. It was the only room within the wide underground bunker, even had it's own loo. I couldn't help but wonder if this was Abel's old office; back whenever he was running this place.
The office was newly decorated with bare couch cushions and an empty desk with computer parts all laid out on the wood. One screwdriver was even sticking out of a piece, stuck between a bolt and a crack in the computer's green insides. The office was bare yet there was this constant noise outside from the men and women banging on junk pieces and whistling metal. Whenever the door would open there was always this sharp clinking noise and constant hammering.
Then the doors opened one last time, revealing Louis with new clothes folded over his outstretched arm. I was halfway facing the office door while holding pieces of the broken computer parts.
Louis walked in, "We packed whatever we could fit while following you around the mid Northwest," He watched me fiddle with one piece before flickering his eyes over to the clothes in his arms. I drop the piece and take a pair of unraveled ripped jeans and a red bomber jacket. My nose must of scrunched up in confusion or disgust because Louis was suddenly blabbering an apology, "I just grabbed whatever was on the top Boss. I didn't think you would be bothered since they're better than any prisoner's jumpsuit." He shrugged towards my hideous orange jumpsuit.
"These will do just fine Lou," I hold my hand up in assurance, taking a plain white t-shirt from him as well.
Louis was also holding a pair of dark boots in his left hand and as I take them the office door swings open once again.
We both face the door and this time Toni makes her way into the office. I turn my body to face her completely, crossing my arms while in my stance and Louis only rolls his eyes in annoyance.
"Good to see you're adjusting," Her throaty voice makes my skin crawl and not in a good way.
"I'm only just standing here love." I reply bitterly.
"Right," she continued, "Well whenever you are finished here Malia would like to show you something." Louis and I both exchange worried glances before she continues, "She says it's urgent so you better hurry." She turns to leave, flicking her short hair behind her shoulder with long exaggerated fingers. When she opened the door one last time, the same pounding of a hammer and whistling of used sheet metal rang in my ears. I squinted at the bunkers bright lights ahead until the door was closed shut.
Louis immediately marched over to the door and locked it before turning to press his back to it. He sighed heavily, smacking his head gently to the back of the door.
"Who is she?" I ask out of nowhere while unbuttoning my jumpsuit. I toss my arm full of clothes and boots to the desk top and turn away from Louis for a moment.
"Someone we shouldn't even be trusting," I hear Louis mumble behind me. I turn back while scooting the top half of my jumpsuit down to my hips. Louis sees my concerned expression and smacks his head to the office door once again, "That's Toni, she's worked with Malia. I guess they met through Abel's partnership in LA when we were last there."
"You mean to tell me that Malia went to Abel's side after I let her walk off freely?" I snap, struggling to fit a pair of tight jeans up my legs. Louis shrugged and I turned away again to grab my new shirt, "I should have killed her when I had the chance." I mumbled under my breath.
I heard Louis walk across the concrete coming up to my side as I shrug on the red bomber jacket he gave me, "You know why you couldn't... Addison would have never stayed with you if she thought you were a killer." He assured me.
