A week later..
Adam's football game is tonight, that night he stayed he found my phone by my bedroom door. I told him I threw it there, so he asked why. I told him about Sauli texting me but not the last part, he didnt need to know that yet. I was sitting in the library gazing out the window, someone cleared their throat behind me.
I turned round and saw Sam, "Hey you, what's wrong you look a little distracted?" he asked. "Its nothing, just stuff on my mind that's all. What are you doing here anyway aren't you meant to be in class" I questioned. "Wow you really are a dolly daydream aren't you its lunch time, I was asked where you were today in maths" he replied. "Oh crap I forgot what did you say?" I asked, "That you were feeling sick so you were in the nurses office" he said smiling.
" Hmm thanks, you're the best" I said, Sam sat down opposite me. "Look Tommy something is wrong, I might not know you well but I can see that you're not happy right now" he said. "Sam I know you hardly know me but I really appreciate your concern" I said. "Look Tommy we both have a free lesson next, would you like to take a walk outside with me. You don't have to tell me, but if you do I wont judge you and I will probably forget it that night" he said smiling.
Later that day...
I was sitting under a tree by the lake with Sam, he knows everything now. I can't keep it to myself now, he's really easy to talk to. He thinks I should go for it with Adam, but he didn't seem too behind it. I asked him if he wanted to come to Adams football game later, he said no and that football wasn't his thing.
He kinda didn't speak much, I wondered what was wrong. "What's wrong Sam?" I asked, "Nothing just stuff" he said. "Look Sam you were fine before I mentioned Adam, tell me what's wrong please" I asked. "Look Tommy you are an amazing person but I cant hear you talking about Adam because I think Im getting a crush on you ok" he said.
Im sure my mouth literally hit the floor, "well that's unexpected" I said. Sam leant in and kissed me, I leant into it but he pulled away. "Oh my Tommy Im so sorry, I didn't mean to" he said standing up and running into the school. "Sam wait!" I yelled as I ran after him, that felt good he didn't have to run. I caught up with him eventually, he was standing at the top of the staircase as I yelled his name stopping him in his tracks.
I ran up the stairs, he looked dead embarrassed as I took his sleeve and pulled him into the empty library. "Sit" I said as he sat down at the table with his head hung. "So that was interesting, I had no idea you liked me in that way Sam" I said. "I don't know what came over me, I understand if you don't want anything to do with me" he said. "Sam dont be silly of course I want something to do with you" I said.
"Really?" He questioned looking up through his long eyelashes. "Yes because I think I might have a small crush on you too, I love your sparkling eyes and your floppy hair it makes you look cute" I said as Sam blushed slightly. "Tommy I had no idea but youre pretty cute yourself with your chocolate brown eyes and your floppy purple hair, you're a good looking guy" Sam said. It was my turn to blush as I stared into Sams eyes, he leant towards me as his lips met mine.
His hands ran through my hair as he kissed me passionately, he pulled away and looked at me. Damn he was super cute, "so are we a thing then?" he asked. "Oh I think so" I answered watching him, he smiled at me as we stayed locked to each other.
