2 months later...

I heard a pained voice saying no over and over again, I snapped my eyes open and ran down the hallway. I flew into the spare bedroom and saw Adam flailing his arms around, beads of sweat were covering his forehead. Shit I didn't know what the hell to do, I made my way over to him and shook him gently. He let out a piercing scream and sat bolt upright, his eyes were dark and wild as he glanced nervously around the room like he was looking for something.

His breathing was ragged as his wild eyes focused on me, "Adam you were having a bad dream" I explained. His eyes darted from the floor to me as he started to sob uncontrollably wrapping his arms around his knees. Shit he looks like a child, I sat on the edge of the bed and put my arm around his shoulder. "Its ok Adam everything is ok now" I said quietly. He started to quieten down now as he started to fall asleep again, "please stay Tommy" he begged as I nodded in response and laid down next to him.

He fell asleep almost instantly as I stroked his hair, I laid awake for what seemed like ages he keeps having nightmares screaming in his sleep. I think its flashbacks from the accidents, he wont tell me exactly what it is. It felt weird him curled up next to me, but the scared look in his eyes wasn't easy to forget.

I woke up draped in Adam, he had his hand curled over my arm. I slid from under his grasp as my back cracked, I pulled a face as I stood up and looked out the window. I watched Adam sleeping, he looked peaceful now but still had lines furrowing across his forehead. His eyes snapped open as he looked up and stretched, "Morning" I said as he sat up and glanced around the room.

"Hi" he said smiling, "did you sleep ok" I questioned. "Yeah when you stayed with me, I guess its a comfort thing" he answered. "Want some breakfast?" I asked, "Yeah sure Im just going to shower" he replied as I smiled and headed downstairs. I was standing at the cooker flipping pancakes, my mind kept drifting away from what I was doing. I smelt burning as I looked down at the pan, the pancakes were charcoal. "Oh shit" I cried grabbing the pan and burning my hands, I threw the pan into sink and ran cold water over it and my hand.

I started again as they went perfectly, I looked around the kitchen and saw little patches of flour over the side. I felt arms wrap around my waist as Adam smiled down at me, he was fresh from the shower smelling of strawberry shower gel and shampoo. He smelt amazing, "Don't make a mess by halves do you" he whispered his breath tickling my neck. I smiled, "nope I made pancakes" I replied kissing him.

"I love you" he whispered into my lips as I felt a smile on his lips. "Well that's funny because I love you to" I answered. We sat down at the table as we tucked into the pancakes, they weren't too bad actually. "So what are we going to do today?" I asked, "Don't know its up to you" Adam answered. "Well im going to the salon, I keep getting in shit because my hair is too bright or something" I said. "Oh right ok then, I might come with there's a new shop opening today and I want to have a look around" he said his eyes sparkling.

Oh Adam and his shopping, "Well you better get dressed than you're giving me ideas in that towel" I replied. "Oh really all bad I hope" he said stroking my cheek and kissing me. He walked past me and headed upstairs as I slapped his butt, he smiled and winked at me as he strutted upstairs. Damn the things I would do to him, Tommy stop you've only just started dating him! I stuck all the plates into the dishwasher and switched it on, Adam appeared a few minutes later.

He was dressed in black skinny jeans, a shirt and black heeled boots. I looked at him up and down as my eyes were drawn to his tight pants and the noticeable bulge in them. Oh my gosh I thought biting down on my lip, "Ready to go babe?" he asked twirling his car keys around his finger. I drew my eyes away as he smirked, "What oh yeah, I'll Erm go get my boots" I answered blushing as Adam smiled at me. Damn it he knew exactly what he was doing to me, and he just played on it.

We were soon in downtown LA as I climbed out of the car Adam pulled on his sunglasses and climbed out the other side. I wandered into the salon as Adam walked to the new shop up the road, "Tommy its nice to see you again!" Marina said. "Hey, yeah I need my colour taken off my stupid school keep having a go because its apparently to bright fro school" I said. "Ok, have a seat " she said smiling and draping a cloak over me.

"So how's it going with your man? Sam was it?" she asked as she put some bleach stuff on my hair. "Me and Sam aren't together anymore, I didn't love him and I don't think he loved me either. But I have someone now so it's all good" I replied. "Oh really who?" she asked, "Adam" I answered. "Adam as in your best friend Adam?" she questioned, "Yep the one and only" I answered blushing.

"So you like him then?" she teased, "Yeah I think I love him and what's more he loves me too" I smiled. About half an hour later Adam appeared, my hair was dry as I paid for it. "Hey babe, Looks good blonde suits you" he said wrapping me in a hug and kissing me. "Thanks babe, did you get anything nice?" I questioned, "Sure I did but I'll show you later" he said, I said goodbye to Marina and laced my fingers with Adams. I was pretty happy right now, I had the man I loved he looked equally as happy.
