Kaylen started talking as the two walked to history.
"Can't believe I had to move her I mean Hollister High school was hardly the last place I wanted to be where I used to live was way better" Kaylen told me
"Um where did you live" I asked I really want to hit myself right now I kept saying um
"Arizona, I loved it there it was always really hot and here it always rains" Kaylen moaned dramatically "God I must sound like such a diva I mean I just miss my friends you know"
"Not really" I said "Don't have friends" I said as soon as said it I couldn't believe myself great way to make a friend is not to tell her you don't have friends.
"Oh" said Kaylen "There loss"
I looked down so Kaylen wouldn't see me smile happily.
"Do you think I would qualify as a friend" Kaylen asked me
"You don't even know me" I pointed out
"Well our give you my number and then we can get to know each other" Kaylen told me, Kaylen unzipped her bag and grabbed a pen and a piece of paper. She scrawled down her number and handed it to me.
"Call me" she told me
"How do you know Gabbi and Lilli" I asked Kaylen
"In ninth grade we went to hockey camp together camp may of sucked but Lilli and Gabbi were cool though" Kaylen told me
It was odd really odd how I felt with Kaylen, Kaylen was just in one word amazing. She wasn't like the only three friends I ever had my whole life. I had to force myself not to stare into her huge beautiful brown eyes. Kaylen was charming and witty. I sat next to her in history .
"Do you like history" I whispered to Kaylen when the lesson started
Kaylen shook her head "No I hate history" Kaylen moaned
History has always been my favourite subject. I'm in the most advanced history class in my year. The thing about being a school loser means I have a lot of time to read at home so history is very easy for me.
I always hate seeing who will be in my classes. This year is no different. Jessica Eddy is my class and so is Chuck fucking Rendson. They have both caused me many nights of crying myself to cry
Chuck walked past me and shoved me so hard I nearly fell off my chair.
"Way to go Chuck" Jessica yelled
Even after all these years I still want to cry. I still want to die. I can't though not after last time, not after last time
"Great when they put the seating plan I bet I'm going to be sitting next to someone I can't stand" I moaned hoping I didn't sound near tears
I'm a good girl so the teachers like to put me next to the bad kids. Most of them enjoy bullying me for fun.
"Chill I've got this one" said Kaylen
"Miss Johnson" said Kaylen as soon Miss Johnson walked into the room "I'm new do you mind if I sit next to Skylar" she said sweetly
Kaylen had turned from typical sixteen year old to sweet charming wholesome girl in three seconds.
Sure I guess" muttered Miss Johnson
"Hay new hot girl don't be sitting with the freak sit next to me" Andrew yelled
Kaylen rolled her eyes "Were you always such a jerk or is this a new thing" she asked him sweetly
A couple of kids laughed I felt bad for Kaylen people who our friends with me will not become popular. It might be okay for Kaylen thought if she friends with Lilli and Gabbi.
"I will have to move if you don't give me the answers" said Kaylen with a straight face
The two of us kept serious faces for about two seconds and then we both burst out laughing.
"Everyone always at the stupid jokes" said Kaylen happy
Through out most of history. Me and kaylen talked the whole time. Kaylen talked a lot about Arizona. She was really funny to and kept talking a lot about her friends back at home.
Lucky Kaylen I never even had friends.
"What about you" Kaylen asked me half way through the lessons
"Oh" I muttered I didn't really want to tell Kaylen too much about my life, I really liked her and hearing my life story would be enough to make Kaylen hate me
"I mean you have an awesome style but come on what's your family's like" Kaylen asked
Kaylen's parents had sounded really nice. She said her Dad had a good job and always brought her presents. Her Mum would buy her drinks and Kaylen had always had relaxed rules. They sounded like the kind of parents that would always help you out.
My parent's were the opposite. Dad and Mum both had good jobs. I was never good enough for them. Once I was in sixth grade I remember noticing how Mum and Dad clearly adored my little sister Blair but treated me like an outcast. Mum and Dad never had time for me. They never gave me extra money when I got good grades at school. Blair was the perfect one in there eyes.
"Oh is not good I'm sorry I had a friend who had a sucky time at home you can always talk to me" Kaylen promised me
I couldn't believe how transpart I was. Normally I really wasn't. Kaylen must think I was an iddiot.
"You must of think I'm stupid" I said "I normally can actually hide something"
"It's fine now spill" Kaylen commanded, Kaylen's brown eyes were beautiful.
"It's not like there abusive or anything it's just they don't seem to care about they work a lot and you know when your little and do stupid school play's Mum and Dad would always skip it but my little sister Blair can do no wrongs in there ideas"
Kaylen smiled at me I could see the symphy on her face, I have never been able to stand that. "You have me" she promised "Were friends and friends our a better version of family" she told me
My heart studded thudding faster. I looked down so Kaylen wouldn't see me blush. She was my friend. For once I was actually happy
