"Mahika, baby, I loved you. All along!" He whispered.
"I know you did. You're just too late to show me that." I said softly.
"I'm so sorry. I let you and myself believe that I moved on. I didn't, Mihi. I could never!" He cried.
"I'm sorry." I said as I gave him one last sad smile and walked out.
Not just of the room. But the possibility of an "us", as well. Telling him, that for me, the "us" ended a long time ago.
