We Don't Talk Anymore

First Meets, One Direction and The Spot

"Where are you?" Sam asked me over the phone as I was getting on my bike.

"I'm leaving. Did you reach?" I asked her.

"Yeah, bro. Me and Piyush are waiting by the bistro, we always go to." Sam said.

"Yeah, okay. I'll be right there." I said as I hung up and started my bike.

I was going to introduce Rey to Sam and Piyush today. It was a long overdue plan, which we finally settled on, today. Piyush had been very busy because of his college and his studies. 'Life of an engineering student.' as he said.

I was all in for studies and an amazing career, but I hated that he barely gave any time to Sam, as well. I mean, she's his girlfriend, for christ's sake. Harsh was an engineering student too. But he always gave me time. If he couldn't meet, he would at least call me.

It had been almost 3 weeks since me and Harsh were dating. It was going great. He's the best boyfriend in the world. I was very happy with him. And I also think I was falling for him. And hard, too.

As I reach the bistro, I see Sam, Piyush and Rey waiting there for me - Awkwardly, might I add. I park my car and walk towards them. As I came near, I saw that Sam was making the face she always does when she's very very awkward. I laughed at that as all the three pairs of eyes turn to me.

Piyush and Rey look at me weirdly, probably wondering why I was laughing so much, whereas Sam was throwing such glares at me, for leaving her to be awkward; so much that if looks could kill, I would be 6 feet under.

As I reached them, I pulled Sam in for a hug, laughing all the while. She patted my back twice. She waited for a second expecting me to let go, but then wraps her arms around me, finally.

It has always been like this. My charm has always made her lose her anger.

After pulling away from Sam, I hug Piyush before Rey pulls me in for a tight hug. He lifts me off the ground as he pulls me closer. That is why I love that he's so tall. I love Rey's hugs. They're always so amazing and make me feel so secure.

After pulling away, I stand next to Rey and turn to Sam and Piyush.

"So, Sam, Piyush, this is Reyansh. My best friend." I said.

"Hey guys." Rey said to them.

They said their hellos and we walked inside the bistro. We find a booth and get seated like me and Rey sitting across Sam and Piyush.

We chat for hours together. I'm so glad that they get along! More importantly I'm glad that Sam and Rey get along well. They got along so well, that they teamed up and fought with me over whether or not Oliver and JJ are a romance or not. They called them "Joliver". I can't deny that, that was a really cute name, but NO! Oliver is not gay, okay.

Piyush would sit there awkwardly, adding something in between. Then after a while, Rey and him started talking about engineering. Something about Rey giving him tips, since Rey was a year elder to us. Rey had his boards this year as well, since he was in 12th grade.

But this guy wouldn't study at all. I would always tell him to focus on his studies at least a little bit, but he was so fucking stubborn.

"So Rey, how are your studies going on?" I ask him on purpose cutting Piyush off. I give him a knowing look.

"They're good." He says.

"Are you even studying at all, Kulkarni?" I asked him.

"I am, Godbole." He says and narrows his eyes at me.

"I don't believe you." I say as I match his expression.

"Okay." He says and shrugs before chuckling.
