It had been 6 months since me and Harsh broke up. And I was okay. Me and him didn't date for that long, anyway. Plus, I had Sam and Rey who did everything in their power to help me.

About a week after our break up, Rey's results of his finals came up, and he scored quite well. Not as much as he expected, though.

I didn't go all 'I told you so' on him, he didn't need that right now. He felt really bad about it. And I didn't want to make him feel worse.

Harsh called me a couple of times about 2 months after our break up asking me if we could be friends. Me being myself, I agreed.

Rey didn't approve of it that much, but he knew better than telling me something he knew I wouldn't do. And he knew that I was like that. He knew that I hadn't even held grudges against my classmates from Vidya Valley. Holding grudges? That's just not who I am.

Me and Sam were going to an event with some of our school friends. It was a three day event that took place every year in India, and this time, it was in Pune.

Me and my family were over at Sam's place, our families apparently had planned a day together, and me and Sam got ready at her place before we went to the event with Piyush and Nikhil.

Rey was gonna come too, but he had to cancel at the last moment. He apparently had some test tomorrow. I was a bit bummed out after that.

After we reached the arena and found Diya and Anushka, all of us walked towards the stalls that had stuff selling there. Just as we approached the stall of different head gears, my phone started buzzing.

I was wearing a grey dress and black combat boots. I wore a black leather jacket over the dress, since it was biting cold. I was carrying a sling bag, in which I carried my phone, and the basic make up stuff, along with a couple of hair ties for me and Sam.

Both of us had our hair down. Unlike Sam, I would eventually get tired of my blowing hair and tie it up in a messy bun. I always carried an extra one, for Sam, just in case she felt like her hair was getting annoying.

I fished for my phone in the bag and took it out. It was Rey. There was a lot of noise going on and I knew that I wouldn't be able to hear a thing. So I walked a bit away from the group and answered the call.

"Hello?" I yelled over the music at the back. There was a lot of noise coming from the other side of the line too. "Where are you? Why is there so much noise coming from behind you?" I asked him.

"Just turn around." He said as calmly as he could.

I furrowed my eyebrows and turned around. There he was, standing with one of his hands tucked in the pocket of his jeans and the other one holding the phone.

My eyes widened and I felt a huge smile growing on my face as I hung up the phone and ran to him.

I hadn't seen him in almost a month. He had been with his family in Mumbai for some family function.

Just as I came in front of him, I jumped on him as he wrapped me in his arms and pulled me flush to his body. I rested my head on his shoulder and let out a breath, I didn't know I was holding.

He held me in his arms above the ground for a while, before we pulled away and looked at each other with big smiles.

"I thought you weren't coming!" I exclaimed as he put me on the ground.

"I did too! But I just missed you so much, and I couldn't give up three whole days with you." He said and winked at me.

I felt heat coming up to my cheeks before I pulled myself together and smirked at him. "Aw, I know I'm the best." I said.
