Superimpose:
Step 1: Open up a white background and the image you would like to mak a png out of.
Tip: Pngs are easier to make when the person is behind a solid color background. While searching for photos, add the word 'photoshoot' behind the person's name.
Step 2: Use the magic wand to mask the background away on your image.

Step 3: If you still have some parts of your image you want to erase, either use the smart brush or the normal brush.

Step 4: After you've erased all the background off of your png, size it to how you want, then go to where you would save the image, and hit 'mask as PNG.' It will save as a png in your camera roll.

If you notice that it has a little bit of white like this one does, then you can go back and erase some more, but I was just too lazy to fix it!
