"Dude, why did you have to buy the most heaviest kegs in town?" I asked as I tried picking up one of the kegs to carry it up Bailey's portch steps.
"Becuase those have the best quality and plus they're the biggest I could get around here." She said also having a keg at hand.
"You know, maybe we should call Scott and Adam to come help out... This is a job for men! I can't carry these monstrosities up these steps! I'm more of a tuck and roll kind of person." I said trying to pick the keg again, but failed miserably.
Conscience: Well if you went to the gym once in a blue moon this wouldn't have happened!
Oh shut up you... Me not going to the gym is partly your fault too becuase we're the same person!
Conscience: Ah the joys of being related!
Grrrr...
"Hey I have a plan! Maybe we should both try to pick it up and carry it up the stairs?" Bailey asked and I looked down at the keg in front of me.
"Yeah why not." I said letting go of the keg and walked over to Bailey.
"Okay, on the count of three." Bailey started and I nod grabbing unto the keg that was between the two of us.
"One... Two... Three!" and on that we both lifted the keg up and I whimpered.
"Oh sweet Lord this is heavy!" I cried out as we both started walking towards the portch steps.
"C'mon Phoenix work those legs!" Bailey yelled out as we started going up the steps.
"I'm going to endure some serious back problems after this." I said as we made it on top of the stairs and put the keg down.
Both Bailey and I were panting from the heavy lifting and I looked at her with pleading eyes.
"Never again." I said and Bailey sighed.
"There's two more we have to get up here." She said and I shook my head.
"Fuck it, I'm calling Scott and Adam!" I said whipping out my phone, but Bailey stopped me before I could do anything else.
"No!"
"Why not?"
"Becuase I can't let Scott see me like this!" Bailey said gesturing to the clothes she was wearing.
"Bee, you always wear those kind of clothes." I pointed out and she rolled her eyes.
"That's not what I meant." She said and I raised an eyebrow. "I want Scott to see me in my dress when the party starts."
"Bee we need help with these kegs. I'm not going to carry one of those metal monsters up here again! I nearly died when we brought up that one!" I said pointing to the keg that was in front of Bailey and I.
"Then call someone else, but Scott! Maybe you should call Reece." She sucjested and I shook my head.
"Reece took Rach out for the day." I said and Bailey frowned.
"So he isn't going to party I assume?" she said and I shrugged.
"I don't know Bailey, but I can't call him for help becuase he's busy." I said and Bailey rubbed her temple.
"What about Drake?" She asked and my eyes widened.
"No."
"Why not?" Bailey said mocking me a little.
"You know I can barely speak to him properly! It's going to be a total disaster if he comes to help!"
"Yeah becuase you'll be in the corner drooling over him." Bailey said and laughed making me glare at her.
