Thanks for all the comments thus far. And I also want to clarify some things so you don't get totally confused.
Olamide is the protagonist in this novel and the period lapse of this book is actually a day and the next morning.
The location of the book is In Lagos, Nigeria, Africa (Please don't tell me you don't know where that is.)
The plot is simple. Yet complicated. Olamide's family is having a family reunion and by now you should know it's the family from her mother's side.
I'll give a list of all the immediate family members
Toluwa is Olamide's mother and Ajumobi is Olamide's Father.
Aunty Funmi - Olamide's aunty and Tolu's immediate junior sister.
Uncle Jide : Tolu's elder brother, and is married to aunt Carol. (You'll meet her soon :) )
Uncle Dare: Tolu's junior brother. He's the only one married to someone outside their tribe (Yoruba.) and marries an Ijaw lady (Aunt Tonye.)
Aunt Titi : the aunty that everyone is thankful for ,for not coming. You know, the witch**
Moyo : Olamide's cousin and the only child of Uncle Dare and Aunt Tonye.
Kayode and Damilola : cousins of Olamide. Children of Uncle Jide and Aunt Carol.
Nike : Also Olamide's cousin and adopted by Aunt Carol and Jide.
Aunt Bisiola : the mysterious aunt and Bryan's foster mom.
Bryan : Olamide's Boyfriend.. And her new cousin.
Aunt Lolade : the fine aunty married to Jerome, junior sister of Tolu and Funmi.
Extras : Wara/Wasi, Edna, Dennis, Timmi, Toyin, Wole.
