Hopefully, this is among the last chapters. Back to the real characters. Have fun! Can you guess the person up there?

Olamide's POV

Nothing can crush my heart more than this. Aunt Funmi..cancer. They don't even go together right?
I fight the tears that plan to show my vulnerability.

This wasn't how i pictured my dinner.

My family.

I take a deep sigh. Wake up Olamide, its a damn bad dream!

I pinch myself and realise that this is real as day.

Everybody was sober till...

"Boy..your family's messed up"the boy that came with Shola spit out.

Shola gave him a " you just had to say something "look

My mum didn't take expensive jokes with family.

Uh oh.

"Young man, what is your name?" My mum asks.

"Sean..Sean Anderson" i think by now he realises he had made a mistShola
"Sean..what do you do in Canada? Are you a student also?"

I see Shola giving him eye signs to mellow. I guess he's not good at understanding. Shola you are in trouble!

"I..em.."

"No lies boy, we've had enough for today." My Grandma advised. It is a good advice. I hope he takes it.

"I own a club. Kinda"

"Kinda?"  Aunty Funmi asks.

He nods " me and some of my friends."

My mum eyes Shola " You told us he is a graphic designer"

Shola was about to talk when he cut her " I do that too. In my free time. Like during the day.."

My mum seems to be interested in this boy by now i assume is Shola's Boyfriend.

"You go to school?" She asks

"Nahh..i used to. Got kicked out.."

Im liking this honesty game.

"Kicked out son? But why?" Aunt Carol asks.

I silently wonder why the men haven't said anything in this matter since they are so uptight about respect.

We wait in silence. Release the monster Sean. Show us the skeleton.

" money." Shola cut in

"Did we ask you??" Aunt Tonye, the silent observer speaks. Finally.

I'm guessing she didn't like Shola too. I've always loved aunt Tonye.
