Okay, so here's a rant for you guys, please don't be offended by anything I say, cuz' I just want to get this off my shoulder.

Weiss: Spit it out.

Me:*glares and sighs* so, uh, where to begin....

Weiss: *deadpans* the beginning would be nice.

Me: *ignores* Right. So uh, as you guys know, I'm pretty into RWBY.

Weiss: If obsessed is what you mean...

Me: yeah, I guess into is kinda an understatement.

Weiss: Meaning that it's your current biggest fandom.

Me: Yup! ^.^ and I have been in a heck of a lot of fandoms.

Weiss: I know, you've already told me.

Me: okay then, let's get to the meat of this rant.

Weiss: that sounds weird.

Me: what does?

Weiss: how you worded that sentence.

Me: okay....?

Weiss: Anyhow, go on...

Me: I'm being a big procrastinator right now ain't I?

Weiss: *annoyed* just get on with it.

Me: Alright then, Ice Queen.

Weiss: Hey!

Me: *snickers* So, being the crazy fangirl I am, I searched up for RWBY fanfictions on wattpad. I got quite a lot of results, as expected because I joined the fandom so late (😖why did I never find out about this awesome show?😖) and so I looked through all the stuff, picked two or three, put them in my library and started reading.

Weiss: and...?

Me: I. Was. Horrified.

Weiss: and that was because...?

Me: and no, before you jump to any conclusions, it wasn't exactly about the shipping.

Weiss: So what was it?

Me: The fanfiction was horrible. I'm saying that it was horrible in the way that the story didn't seem to make much sense at points, and mostly the fact that none of the fanfictions I've read so far have actually got all of team RWBY's characteristics correct. I also felt the fact that it didn't feel like I was reading something that flowed like a normal books' should. I'm saying that there were grammatical mistakes and spelling mistakes. I'm not naming any books in particular, and I'm just saying this in my own opinion. I found that the main storyline for them were good, but they usually included fighting that had no...pizzazz for the lack of a better word. It was mostly just: "He lopped off the gimm's head and killed off the others." for an example. If there were made-up characters, they also became a little too overpowered or 'perfect' for my liking. And if you know a thing or two about me, then I will tell you that although I find a story horrible, I will keep on reading, because that's what I'm like. I'm a person who will die internally if I don't find out what happens in the end.
Oh and guys reading this rant that actually know extremely good RWBY fanfictions, don't hesitate to recommend them to me, I mean hey, maybe I just haven't been reading the right material.

Weiss: Hmm... You have more taste in books than I thought.

Me: Why thanks.

Weiss: you also wrote ridiculously long paragraphs to get your point across.

Me: umm.... Thanks?

Weiss: that wasn't a compliment.

Me: Right, back to the rant: Remember how I said that it wasn't really the shipping that triggered me?

Weiss: yes?....

Me: well, hehe, it kinda did at some points....

Weiss: *raises eyebrow*

Me: Yeah, I'm not mentioning any names, but I just can't seem scroll through the list of RWBY fanfictions on wattpad and find some proper good and straight fanfictions. Also, there were some sex references in several of the fanfictions I've read, and I admit, I'm a bit too young for that stuff. My mind is already pretty dirty, because learning about um... Stuff in Health seemed to scar my mind a bit more than most. I have read pretty....umm....interesting stuff in actual books before, and I have a feeling that my reading age is a lot older than my actual age...lol. Haha, I dunno, maybe I'm just too innocent compared to some other people, and I can't handle that stuff... Sorry people.
Oh, here's something else that I should say; I'm not very interested in any of the "[insert character name] X [Male/Female reader]" books, but if you guys know any good ones, don't be afraid to recommend! I'm not exactly interested in the made up teams either, but I'm always open for recommendations as I will say a billion times during this rant.
Anyway, I actually have found one good RWBY fanfiction that is a oneshots book, I it's by hiddenheart51900  and I highly recommend you guys to read it, except... Hehe, this is what I meant by "it's not exactly the shipping". It does contain Whiterose, Blackrose and some other....not so straight stuff. I'm a person who usually stays far far away from those books, but damn, she is sooooooo good!

Weiss: I'm sorry, but I like to believe that I am straight, thank you very much.

Me: Yup, my thoughts exactly Weiss! Now for a big rebuttal: I'm just saying that I do love fanfictions, and that I didn't check out all those fanfictions out there, so I may never know. And I'm summing this rant out of the ones I've read. I'm also going to write my own RWBY fanfiction called One By One, but that is not at all the reason why I am ranting about bad fanfics. Heck, for all i know, I may just be a big hypocrite. Anyhow, yeah, I guess that kinda concludes the big rant... Thanks to you guys who listened to me rambling on and on... Um... Right.....
