Venom (Tsuzuku X Koichi)

Chapter 3 - On The Road

Meto held Ruana-chan close to him as he slept peacefully on the small couch that we had. I looked out the window as it was somewhere between dawn and dusk.

"How can he sleep in daylight?" Tsuzuku asked.

"Because he didn't sleep through the night." MiA answered.

"Why was something wrong?" I asked curiously.

"Something about a nightmare." MiA muttered his reply.

"Oh wow." Tsuzuku said with a sigh.

"I guess it's normal with what happened at our last concert." I voiced my opinion.

"Lets hope it doesn't happen again." Tsuzuku said pulling me close to him as we were sitting on the couch opposite.

"Let's Hope." I said my reply.

Night set upon us and there was still a few hours we had before we would arrive. I guess we would be there by close to midnight. Tsuzuku was sound asleep leaning his head lightly against me. MiA sat on his bed reading a book, probably the last few pages before he would fall asleep too.

Then there was Meto who had woken up around an hour and a half later and now was aimless starting out into the darkness.

It was like he was trying spot something that wasn't there.

"You okay Meto-Chan?" I asked looking over at him. He turned and looked at me and gave a small nod. I sighed cuddling up to Tsuzuku as my eyes drifted shut though I kept waking up with this feeling that something was wrong.

"Koichi wake up. We have arrived." Tsuzuku's voice wakes me up from my slumber. I blink rubbing my eyes and sit up.

"I can't see a thing." I mumble standing up and straight up my hair and clothes.

"That's because it's 10pm." MiA says pulling his hoodie over his head a little. Meto chuckles a little as he comes and stands beside MiA.

"Right everyone got everything, everyone ready to head to the hotel." Tsuzuku asks.

"Yeah, let's go." I reply on everyone's behalf.

Then after that we all head out the bus thanking the bus driver and into the hotel lobby. Tsuzuku goes to get the keys for our room.

"Ah so bright." I say blinking as my adjust to the light. Meto nods in agreement with me.

"I got the keys." Tsuzuku says throwing them in the air and then catching them.

"You'll lose them at this rate." MiA teases as we all head up the stairs to our double room.

As soon we are in our attached room and placed our suitcases aside, I think everyone just gets changed and straight in bed. We are all tired and have another show to tomorrow around mid-day. The more rest we get, the better it is for us.

"Night everyone." I mutter sleepily.

"Goodnight." Tsuzuku and MiA reply and Meto turns off the light and we all drift off to sleep.

It was 10pm when we arrived at the hotel, a few hours pass and I hear footsteps. It's just paranoia I think to myself either that or people walking past our room. Night passes by more quickly when you're tired and sooner or later it's morning again.

We all got up after the little amount of sleep that we got. It was 7:30am when we either got into one of the two showers or waited for the other person to get out before going in ourselves. Next was getting dressed; now this was limited to whatever we had packed which wasn't much. Though we managed to find something that fit our own style which was good.

Lastly make-up which we left to the professional makeup artists to do, as we casually chatted as that was done.

After that came breakfast as we were all pretty much hungry from all the travelling. Then after that we got taken to the stage where we would perform later on and practice.

We checked out the backstage area which was huge, that was a good thing since the four us might have not been comfortable sitting in a small area.

Once all that was done it was nearing mid-day, I quietly sat beside MiA discussing the positioning we would be in on the stage and such. Tsuzuku was leaning against the half open window smoking his second cigarette in the week. Yeah I sometimes keep count. Then there was Meto who was quietly keeping to himself while reading a manga.

Soon it was our turn to go on stage, Meto got up placing his book aside, he grabbed Ruana-chan and ran on stage. The crowd started cheering and a minute later MiA and I joined him. Then finally Tsuzuku came on stage and the show began.

Everything was going fine, I think we were about ten songs away from ending this concert. Then...the lights went out. Darkness surrounded everyone as panic set in among the fans and they started to push and shove to get out. We all looked at each other just about being able to see one and another, as if to say what do we do now. Something was wrong, seriously wrong.
