One Night Stand (On-Going)

Chapter 25

Nagising ako nang marinig ko ang pag bukas at pag sara ng pinto sa labas ng kwarto ko. Napamulat ako at napatingin sa tabi ko.

Kumunot noo ko nang makita si Caleb. Sino yung tao sa labas?

I swear, I gave too many people a duplicate of my key. Si mommy, si daddy, si Shai and Pat. Grabe.

Bumangon ako dahan dahan para di magising si Caleb at pinulot ang underwear ko at isinuot ito. Pinulot ko rin yung bra, at dumiretso sa closet ko para kumuha ng tshirt at shorts. After I was fully dressed, inunlock ko yung pinto, not caring to brush or anything. Mamaya na, I'll just check who the intruder is, this early in the morning.

"Snow, why the heck do you look like.... oh god." Napatakip si Shai sa bibig niya nang magtama ang mga mata namin.

"Is that.... sex hair?" Sabi naman ni Patrick na nanggaling sa kitchen.

I flushed, "the heck, guys. I was sleeping! What are you two doing here?"

"Yayayain ka sana namin sa movies, showing na kasi yung Into The Woods." Sabi ni Pat, at patuloy na kumagat sa ngayon ko lang napansing hawak niya; a sandwich he made form my kitchen.

"Into the woods? Pambata? Red riding hood?" Sunod kong tanong. Ano ba kasi yung movie na yun? Never heard of it.

"Oo, yung parang red riding hood na pinagsama-sama yung fairytales. Basta not totally for kids, but it's good. Musical siya." Sabi ni Shai, "So pleaaaase, let's watch! Ayaw ako samahan ni Kuya!"

"Akala ko ba si Pat ang magyayaya? E bat ayaw kang samahan?"

"E kasi she blackmailed me to show everyone my baby pictures on the way here. May magagawa pa ba ako?" Natawa ako sa sinabi ni Pat, at natawa na rin si Shai.

Shai opened her mouth to speak when the door behind me, my room, opened and revealed Caleb wearing nothing but boxers.

Great.

"What's with the noise?" Garagal niyang tanong na nagpalaglag sa panga ko.

Lalabas ka ng ganyan ang suot galing kwarto ko tapos magsasalita ka ng may ganiyang boses!? Matinde ka! Kung tayong dalawa lang baka... nakagawa nanaman ako ng kasalanan.

I shook my head and slapped my cheeks a little. This is so not you, Snow. Ikaw na ngayon ang naghahabol? No. Nope. Never.

"Pre baka naman! Magdamit ka nga!" Sabi ni Pat at tumawa nang malakas nang nagulat si Caleb sa kanila ni Shai.

"Ay shit, sorry. I'll go dress up real quick. Di ko alam na may tao, sorry!" He jumped back in my room and closed the door.

I stiffled a laugh. Awkwaaaaaard.

"eeeeeekk," Shai squeaked and blinked repeatedly, "What the hell did I just see?"

Nagkatinginan kami ni Pat at sabay tumawa. Inosente kasi talaga itong si Shai kahit saang sulok mong tignan. But she knows about my... one night stands. She also knows how Caleb and I met. She always cringes whenever I tell her things like that, but still, she's innocent as eff.

"I'm scarred for life. My mind is... holy cracker, no no no no!" Napahawak siya sa ulo niya at parang batang tumakbo papasok sa kitchen para mag tago.

Pat and I still laughed imbis na tulungan siya.

"Fine, I'll calm her down." Pat said, still laughing, trailing off to the kitchen.

I breathed out a laugh for the last time and re-entered my room, to see Caleb getting out of the bathroom and went straight to my closet where he left a pair of pambahay clothes. Ako naman ang pumunta sa banyo to wash my face and brush my teeth, and then I brushed my hair.
