I was gasping for air when i reach the classroom. I was indeed happy Caleb saved me two times.

But there's something in my mind..

Yael..

Ano binabalak niya? The mere thought that he's my so called fiance makes me want to cringe in pain and madness..

Because of him.. Lizzy..
I closed my eyes and relax myself.

"Snow.." I look back to see Pat-pat smiling at me.

I walked towards him smiling "good morning handsome" i grin at him and saw him blushed and scratch the back of his head.
"Shai is absent today, asthma attack."
"Omg, is she okay? Pasaway talaga yung babaeng yun eh" Patrick pat my head

"Hey! Not in the head!" He just chuckled and smiled "yes, she's fine no need to worry."

We walked side by side since apparently free cut today dahil nag ka emergency meeting ang mga teachers.

"So Snow.. how are you?"

I just looked at him as we sat in the bench under a tree "I'm good"
He look at me and touched my hand "I heard.. you're in an arrange marriage.."
I looked away upon hearing that, of course malalaman nila my family and theirs were bestfriends.

"So.. its true.." Patrick sighed
I just held his hand tight "I'll be fine.." i smiled weakly at him.

He suddenly stand up and walks back and forth.

"Hey, umayos ka nga Patrick stop walking and sit here" nahihilo kasi ako sa kakasunod ng tingin sa kanya then all of a sudden

"Why.. him? Why Yael?" looking at me with so much pain
I avoid his gaze "I don't know.. business? Yeah.. its always been with business.."
"You could have said no Snow!" Shaking me in the shoulder. I grab his hand and look at him sharply "I don't have a choice! Sa tingin mo ba gusto ko to? Mapadikit, o kaya makita siya gusto ko? No!"

He sighed "do you still.. love that bastard?"
I laughed at him sarcastically. "Love? Curse that word. I loathed him."

"But youre still affected! He has this effect on you! Like any moment bibigay ka nanaman! I don't want to see you so miserable again please tell me the truth."
I stand up "Stop Patrick. I'm not the weak Snow you knew before, people change so does the feelings" and i walked away

I closed my eyes as Patrick's word echoing in my head.

"But your still affected!"

Third Person's POV

"Are you sure about this?" As the old man looked and see the determination in his eyes

"Yes, i messed up in the past i need to fix it.. na dapat matagal ko ng ginawa"
"Its been three years.. everythings changed, you're not sure about everything" he looked at the young man not sure if he will let him or not.

"Eto lang ang tanging paraan para mapalapit sa kanya, hindi niya alam ang buong katotohanan kung bakit bigla ako umalis. I did it to save my mother.. Dad.."

The old man looked away, he knows kasalanan niya lahat kung bakit naghihirap ng ganito ang kanyang anak.

"I know.." the guy laughed "Sino nga ba naman kami? We're the second family, that we thought were the only family. Funny thing is.. nakita ko ang kapatid ko na kasama ang babaeng pinakamamahal ko."

"Son.. its not--" pero bago pa niya matapos ang sasabihin nito nag patuloy ang anak sa sinasabi nito.

"Hindi nila alam. Lalo na siya diba?"

Nanahimik na lang ang kanyang ama at hinayaan ang panganay niya. Guilt is evident in his face.

"Fuck! All along pinoprotektahan mo sila, no scratch that.. pinagtatakpan mo ang kasalanan mo. paano naman kami? Sustento? Tangina hindi ko kailangan ng pera mo. I become the bad guy in her eyes to protect my mother, kahit na mahal na mahal ko siya.. na kaya ko siya iwan. Ikaw? Ano ginawa mo? Hindi ko nga maintindihan kung bakit hanggang ngayon mahal ka pa rin ng nanay ko. Anton Santos"

"I know your mad at me pero tulad mo may dahilan din ako."

He laughed at the old man in front of him "dahilan? Ha. Wala na ako pake."

"Yael.."

"Thank God i'm not using your surname" before leaving Mr. Anton Santos' office.
