I walk outside with a small smile on my face hoping Will wouldn't notice that I was crying. It failed, Will noticed something was up as soon as I got into his car.

"Is everything alright?" He says as he pulls out of my drive way.

"Everything is fine. My moms okay, even though she was crying, but she claims they were tears of joy." I said as I glanced out the window.

"I knew she was fine because she knew what was happening today. She even gave me some pointers and told me that she's glad to have me in your life." He said, "I was really asking if you were okay. You seem a little off, upset and maybe even a little distracted."

I didn't say anything after he said that because Will knew I was hiding something big from him.

"If you don't want to tell me that's fine too." He looked at me and then smiled.

"It's more than you think it is Will. I just can't get myself to tell you, at least not now. I don't think right now is the right time to bring it up. I'll tell you when the time is right, as long as you won't hate me for waiting."

Will looked at me with total seriousness in his eyes that said he understood what I said. "I've got all the time in the world, so don't you worry about upsetting me. I know you, if it's important enough for me to know, you'll tell me and if it is not, you won't."

He always did understand me, but there is always a time I think he won't. As if it's going to be too much for him or too much for me to handle him knowing. I don't know what I'm going to anymore. My best bet is to wait and let time play its part.

"Thank you Will," I whispered.

"No need to thank me just yet, we haven't even gotten our food. Speaking of which, we have arrived."

I look up and realized we were at my favorite place, a small breakfast joint not too far from school. It had the best biscuits and gravy, I absolutely loved it. Will took me here on the beginning of our first date. Which only makes it even more special. We got out of the car and walked into the small diner. The waitress knew exactly who we were, since we are one of their favorite customers. She lead us to the counter, it was one of my favorite seats because I got to talk to the chef or any of the other workers.

"Trinity!"

I look up and see Mark smiling at me. "How's the business old Mark?"

"Now girl what have I said about you calling little ole me that? I ain't really that old now am I? I still got about a good fifty years in me."

I couldn't help myself, I had to laugh. Mark was a good family friend of mine ever since I was little. Then one day he opened up this place and I've been showing up ever since. I sometimes called him old Mark because of the way he acts. One day he'll say his bones will be aching and then the next he feels like he's twenty again.

"Alright," I said. "Little Mark, how is everything?"

"Everything is running good like it should girly. Why we talking about me? I heard me boy Will did something mighty brave today."

I looked over at Will with a curious expression on my face. He only shrugged his shoulders like he didn't know what Mark was talking about.

"Is that so?" I look back over at Mark and started laughing.

"He told me himself that he was popping the big question today! I knew it would be coming, an old man like me knows these things. He even showed me the ring, it was quite the beauty."

"Old?" Will and I both said in unison while we laughed.

"I mean... yeah ya'know... never mind that. What would you two like? Today is a special day! Get whatever you like, it's on the house."
