Trinity's POV

Will returned with the wheel chair I has asked him to get a few moments ago. I was beginning to get nervous and a little scared. I had already explained my story once, but doing it twice was a different story. Explaining to a little girl's parents that her daughter moved on into the next life was not something I thought I would ever have to do.

"Here, let me help you get into the chair," Will said.

I couldn't help but to sigh, it was a normal reaction now. "Alright, I guess I can let you do that."

"You guess? Did you really think I was going to let you get into a wheel chair by yourself when you just had surgery on your brain? What kind of fiance would I be if I let you do that?"

I stopped moving and my eyes froze on Will. "Fiance?" I whispered, "I-I-I am your fiance now?"

He didn't have to speak because his face said it all. Shock and pain were soon masked with surprised smile. "Yes," he said calmly. "I proposed to you just a few short weeks ago; our first day of school.  It was the happiest day of my life. You wore that blue dress that I love so much."

I tried to remember it all, but it was no use. I was only getting flickers of memory for that day. "I remember a little. I can remember the smell of roses and how there was a trail out into the living room."

Will smiled and looked like he was no longer hurt by me forgetting the day he proposed. He walked over towards me and kneeled down right in front of me. He put one of his hands on me knee and said, " You may not remember everything about that day, but this is a start. I couldn't be more happy right now. It takes time to remember things and I'll do my best to help you."

A tear escaped my eye and I tried to shake it off with a laugh. "I love you Will," I said as I wiped away my own tears.

"And boy do I love you more than that," he said with a smile. "I know this is gonna be hard, but are you ready to go to her room?"

I sucked in a big gulp of air and said, "Yes, I'm ready."

Will picked me up and lightly sat me in the chair. He grabbed one of the small blankets off of my bed and placed it on my lap. He started to wheel me out of the room right into the direction of where her room was. "How'd you know this is where her room is?" I asked him.

"When I went to get the wheel chair, I briefly talked to her parents and said I had someone that wanted to talk to them about their daughter. They simply nodded their heads and said to bring you whenever you were ready."

"Oh," I said not sure what else to say.

*******************************************************************************************************

Will knocked on the door and it was soon opened by a man I assume to be Jaynlyn's father. He gave a small smile and motioned for us to come in. I tried to give a small smile in return, but it didn't work very well. I was too nervous and started fumbling around with my necklace. All I could think about is how sad he looked. When we came into the room I saw her mother sitting beside her in a chair that was next to the bed. She looked the same way Jaynlyn's father did; filled with grief and tears.

Breaking the silence, Will cleared his throat and said, "I understand how right now is a very hard time for you and your family, but my fiance has a story she would like to tell you about your daughter."

"It might sound a little weird, but I'm hoping you can look past the craziness and see the truth." I told them softly.

"Fill free to tell your story dear. I would love to hear anything about my little Jaynlyn," her mother said as she caressed the side of her daughter's bandaged face.
