Vic's POV

My eyes slowly opened. I felt the warmth of a body next to me. I rolled over and stared at Kellin, his eyes tightly shut, his chest slowly falling, then rising again.  He looks so peaceful.

I slowly got up and made my way down the stairs. I opened the fridge and took out some waffles. I put two in the oven and set the timer for 5 minutes. 'Vic?' I could hear Kellin mutter from upstairs. 'Down here, babe' I called up the stairs.

Beep Beep Beep. The waffles had finished cooking. I turned around and saw Kellin walking down the stairs, sniffing the air. 'Don't worry,' I laughed 'I made you one.'  A grin appeared on his face and I laughed to see how excited he was just for  some waffles.

We ate the waffles in silence. It wasn't an awkward one though. Just a peaceful, calm silence.

We finished at the same time. I took our plates to the sink. I'd wash them up later.  I sat on Kellin's lap. He ran his hands through my long hair. 'Babe, what am I going to do tomorrow without you?' I whined. I'd just remembered it was Sunday, meaning I had school tomorrow. Without Kellin. He just stared at me and said 'You'll be okay.' And kissed me gently.

Kellin's POV

I keep telling Vic he's going to be okay, but I know he won't be. Danny and his stupid little friends will know I've been suspended and use that as a chance to get Vic.  I'm so worried for him. Especially when they've found out he's not dead. Which to be honest they probably already have.

We didn't really do much today. We just wanted to make the most of our time together, especially after what happened on Friday. I honestly didn't know if he'd make it.

The day went by really quickly and within no time we were going back to bed again. Vic looked terrified. I can't help but feel bad for him. It upsets me to see him like this. He pretends he's okay, but you can see the fear in his eyes.

We got into bed and turned off the lights. I could see Vic slightly. He didn't sleep at all.

I'm so worried for him.

Vic's POV

I couldn't get to sleep at all last night so I went down stairs and watched TV at 3.00 am. There wasn't really much on.

Finally 7.00am hit and I started to get ready for a day in hell without Kellin.  I decided to go with my Of mice & Men tee, My black, ripped skinny jeans and my snapback. I decided to straighten my hair this morning. I know Kellin loves it like that.

Kellin got up in a panic, thinking i'd gone without saying bye. It was 8.00am and I was  running late, Kellin ran down the stairs and jumped on me. 'I thought you left without saying bye!' He whispered in my ear. I shook my head and hugged him back. I looked at my watch. 8.02am It read.

'Kellin,' I started. 'I really have to leave now.' I finished staring into his sad eyes. He nodded and quickly gave me a kiss.

He watched me walk to the bus and I watched him stand in the door frame as the bus drove off. I knew people were talking about me, but I couldn't really hear them. My headphones were on too loud, all I could make out was 'So, he's not dead then.' and 'Hit him harder next time.'

The bus arrived at the school and I got off, alone. I walked into form and sat down. I took my notebook out of my bag and started writing a song. Danny was yelling cruel words into my face but I wasn't paying attention. I just kept writing and he kept yelling 'till , finally, the bell went and I walked to my first lesson of the day.

Everyone made sure my day was the worst it could possibly be. Danny and Oli especially did. 'Why didn't you hit him harder?' I kept hearing Danny say to Oli. 'I don't know, I'm sorry.' Oli replied. He generally sounded annoyed with himself. I walked up to put a piece of paper that someone chucked at me in the bin, when I accidentally brushed against a girl, sat at the front. 'Sorry.' I muttered.

'eww!' She screamed and everyone turned to look at me. 'He touched me!' She screamed. 'EWWW!' The whole class laughed. Someone yelled ' She's been infected!'

This was it. One more thing will push me to the edge.

I walked out of the classroom and Danny shoved me into a wall. I hit my already injured head pretty hard but he just walked off, so I guess it could've been worse.

I was sat at a table on my own at Break, Trying to finish writing my song. 'He looks tired.' I heard someone laugh. That's coz  I am. I thought to myself. 'I think we should wake him up a bit.' The random voice said. I heard faint whispers. I was just about to look up to see who it was when a freezing cold liquid splashed against my face. 'Awake now?' The strangers asked and they walked off laughing. Everyone in the canteen were looking at me and laughing. I sat there soaked, and embarrassed.

I went to my next lesson covered in water. Gym. We were outside on the field so I dried off quickly. We were doing long distance running and sprinting. I'm terrible at both, so everyone can have a good laugh at me.

'Vic!' I heard Mrs Ciril yell. It was my turn for sprinting. I was up against Ronnie and a quiet boy called Andy. Danny was cheering Ronnie on at the side.

'Three..' Mrs Ciril started

'Two..'

'ONE!' Mrs Ciril yelled

I went to start running but something stopped me and I fell flat on my face. My laces were undone and Danny had stood on them. I touched my face and looked at my hand. Red. I winced and got up. 'Vic,' Mrs Ciril rolled her eyes. She knew I was gay and she was a massive homophobe, so she had no sympathy for me. 'You should have done your laces up!' She looked at me with an angry expression. I looked at Danny who was standing behind her. He mimed a decapitation action as if to say: If you tell her that was me, you're dead.

I  Muttered a quick 'Sorry' to Mrs Ciril and went to clean my face. I had tears streaming down my face and they seeped into my graze. I quietly whimpered and started dabbing my face with a cloth.

I wish Kellin was here.
