Four months had passed. It seemed as though Boucher was cooking up something, as the number of criminals killed decreased. The seventh Kira had begun killing the people of the world, which ranged from criminals, public officials, Noble Peace Prize winners, and the general public. No one seemed safe, and violence was increasing rapidly.

"I used to be in this for the justice, but now...I think that I'm in for the killings." Jonathan Boucher laughed on the servers of the world, causing the once beloved Kira to only be loved by ruthless killers. "L, when you and I meet for our annual discussion on who to kill next, be wary of my arrival."

Near arranged a meeting between the SPK and Kira Task Force. "I am the only one in the entire world with power over every electronic, every satellite, you name it. I can even kill the smallest McDonald's electronic game from a thousand miles away." His pale hands moved over a box, smashing it with sound. "This facility here is the only place that you all will be safe to reside at. You may bring your families here at these times for their safety. For two months, all electronics in the world will not work, causing mass panic and destruction. This will cause the loss of many useful and important lives, but will result in the bringing in of our suspect."

All of the investigators were astounded. Matsuda was the first to respond. "But Near...Yamamoto will die in the ocean with Boucher."

"Don't you remember my words from a few moments ago? This will cause the loss of many useful and important lives." Near crushed more small boxes on the table.

"I can't do this, Near. It's too dangerous." Aizawa stood up to leave, Rester putting a hand on his arm.

Rester pulled the younger man down to his eye level. "Shuichi, you do not want to risk the lives of your wife and children. Please consider the outcome of this catastrophe."

Ide interjected. "I never knew L for myself, and I'm kind of glad I didn't. But from his actions for the years that he was around, he never went as far as this, not even while Light was Kira. He risked his life, and maybe some investigators' lives too, but never so many as close as the whole world."

"Jonathan Boucher is perhaps the most dangerous man to walk the planet. Killing him will help ensue the lives of the future world. I will operate on this action no matter what you do. If you choose to turn myself and the others into Kira, or leave the investigation, I will have no choice but to arrange an early death for those of you who do." Near concluded.

That was the final statement on that arrangement.

Problems were stirring up in the shinigami realm as well.

"Ryuk and Sidoh have screwed us all over. Sidoh's dead, but Ryuk is letting a monster kill all of our year givers!"

"End Ryuk, Shinigami King! End him!~"

A cold, deathly air turned the solemn shinigami realm's atmosphere even darker. The barely lit shinigami world turned darker than it would ever again, and the ruler of this world brought himself forward. More shinigami knew to turn away than stare, or they would be drawn to face certain death.

"Shinigami... do not fear the outcome of Ryuk's actions. I do not plan to make a law against dropping Death Notes into the human world until there are less than a million of those pigs left... But for now, be wary. I have been doing my own spying on the human realm, and Ryuk is starting to see through his actions. The human who posses one of the Death Notes has become very trigger happy lately, and I do intend on watching this with all of you." Silence was the only aspect of reality to be heard.

The shinigami king coughed. "Kill while you can, but make the killings seem like natural deaths. We don't need to get involved with more earthly affairs..."

Light and dryness returned the shinigami realm once more, the shinigami returning to their usual selves. "You know, Ryuk is up there in ranks. Plus, he's one of the few that doesn't fear the shinigami king." A small, high-pitched shinigami mentioned.

"Yeah, but he could be killed at any moment by the king."

"Not Ryuk..."

"Madoka Komura...or should I say, Yamamoto?" Yamamoto awoke to a man's voice scrambled, in a black one-suit.

"MmmmMmmm..." The detective realized he was bound by a choker and in a cubic structure. His head was the only body part out of the cube. It was clasped around his neck carefully, limiting movement greatly.

Boucher laughed. "You don't have a Death Note, Yamamoto. Tell me, why don't you have a last name?" The seventh Kira threw a vanilla folder at the bounded man. "Your records are very odd. No last name, no accurate birthplace... Where do you come from?"

I can't and won't tell him. He may know my connection to Light Yagami, but with the L...

"The first Kira that I can find information on, Light Yagami. You went to high school with him, and graduated from Daikoku Private Academy, but you attended Wammy's House in England when you were younger," He paused, staring above Yamamoto. "Even with the eyes, you only have one name. There's little to no information on Wammy's House, only that you can get in by tests and applications..." I'll arrange for an orphan or two to be administered there. Kira pondered.

Yamamoto looked Kira in the eyes. He can't find out anything about how I ended up at Wammy's. Only Near, Watari, L, Mello, Roger, and Matt would know. All of that information is stored on two computers that are impossible to hack - Near and Roger's CNCs.

Jonathan Boucher smirked. "I'll find that information somehow. Whether it is storming that Wammy's house you emerged from, or finding L, I assure you that I will find it."

He turned to the detective. "I need you to go back to sleep, so-" A radio in the back of the submarine rang. All of the televisions turned on, showing the urgent broadcast message.

"I am L. Today will be the last day some of you ever hear from me again. For the next two months, it will be impossible to access any form of electronic communication, or any form of electronic devices. Batteries will not serve their function, either." Near paused, rethinking on how to state this. "We will catch the second Kira within two months. Thank you for your cooperation, and be safe." A timer began to tick on the devices.

"Shut down sequence will begin in thirty seconds."

"Submarine functions will conclude in five minutes. Please rise to shore." The computer's voice echoed.

Boucher moved around quickly. "Yamamoto, we're going on another journey." Water started to come in from the top of the submarine, Yamamoto trying to scream through his choker.

The seventh Kira shot Yamamoto with a syringe, causing the detective to begin to doze off. A smaller submarine emerged from the one they were currently in.
