Genre: Fantasy (chapter 14 of Mythical Powers)
Help: Leiko has mostly been portrayed in the earlier chapters as someone who's mean and dislikes Sakari and her friends. But after the fight on ch.11 (which Sakari mentions to Aerial), Leiko has changed. She's realized how rude she's been to the brunette. However, on chapter 14, she doesn't show up for school when it lets back in after Christmas break. After class ends, Leiko comes in, hair loose, her face bruised up. Turns out that her father's a drinker, and has been going through tough times. He started going down the deep end when Leiko had the fight 4 months ago...and he started beating her. I basically need help on Leiko's character after the beating. She's with Sakari's mother, Metoko, who is trying to find a way to help Leiko the best she can (whether she should let Leiko stay there, or find out how to contact Leiko's mother so she can pick her daughter up). Leiko's mother had divorced her father after he started drinking again.
