Two Of A Difference

Full moon

This full moon never seemed to end. School was the same, except everyone was howling; it really annoyed me but I had to join in, considering I too am a wolf.

I was talking with one of my closest friends, Alexa. We have been friends for as long as I can remember. We were discussing about those filthy, idiotic blood suckers. Alexa lost her farther when she was younger to vampire. He was trying to save her... She has always wanted to kill one of those bloodsuckers to avenge her fathers death and I support her choice.

Dear diary,

There are only twenty minutes until the full moon arrives and that horrible feeling in my gut has get to go away. I don't know why this is happening. Maybe I'm just over thinking things... hopefully I won't end up killing any innocent people during my rampage...

There was knock on my door. I panicked as I threw my diary  under my pillow. "Come in!" I yelled,

and as I looked up I was drawn to the yellow eyes. It was Alexa. "You ready to go?" She asked;

I look up and my eyes had now turned to a shade of diamond blue. "Ready as I'll ever be".

We were running through the forest, fooling about, when all of a sudden we come to a halt. "did you hear that?" Alexa said quite nervously.

"no?" I said, thinking she was joking. All of a sudden an arrow hit Alexa in the shoulder there were these creatures running so fast that all we could see was a blur.

"Alexa run!" I yell

"but Ver-"

"RUN!" I yelled she nodded and went to go look for help.

I couldn't see what was happening. All I knew was that this was my one chance of becoming a true wolf! I was growling at the figure circling me at an inhuman speed. All of a sudden I felt a sharp pain in my back...

I pulled it out. It was an arrow that hit me in the back. I looked up to see the figure in front of me. I got my claws out to fight back, but all of sudden everything went dark...
