Vanessa's POV

I glared at the girl once more before Mark grabbed my hand a pulled me away.

"We can't leave!!" I cried,

"Come on Nessa you have your stupid diaries!" Mark shouted.

"She killed Father!" I screamed,

"Yes I know and I handled that! I got revenge!" He replied pulling me away.

I glanced back regretfully, I knew deep down inside that this wouldn't be the last time I met that girl.

Mark dragged me the whole way home, tears streaming down my face.

When we reached the front door he gave me a disgusted look, "Why are you crying!?"

I glared at him, "Why wouldn't I be!?" I sobbed.

"Stop acting like a child and get inside and call a family meeting!" He ordered.

I slowly made my way through the large oak doors which held childhood memories through each knot.

I entered the main hall and pulled the rope dangling from the tall ceiling, a loud bell rang through the house, I held my gaze to the ground.

I heard several of my many siblings enter the room, I didn't bother look up.

I felt a pair of hands in my shoulders.

"Is everyone here?" My brother Christoper asked.

"Yes" my sister Nancy answered.

"I have some bad news" Mark stated from behind me. "Vanessa here has revealed a deep dark family secret"

I looked at him confused, what did I reveal?

"We all remember the day baby Vanessa was brought into our lives. It was sudden. Well father explained to me that her family were in grave danger, her home burned down and she and her sister barley survived." Mark explained.

"My sister?" I asked confused,

"Father told me it was his fault the house burned down so he grabbed the two children but before he could escape an alpha attacked him and grabbed one of the infants, he told me he was certain the other child had died but earlier this morning Nessa bumped into her sister who I realised is now an alpha" he stated.

I felt like collapsing to the floor, "S-s-so I'm not actually part of the family" I whispered,

Mark laughed, "Wait you were never suspicious on why you grew up like a human and we were always the same age"

I felt Abbey run up to me, " Hush Nessa don't worry, you are part of our family! Mark where is father he will kill you for telling her this!"

"You knew?" I asked gazing into her eyes.

"That's the thing" Mark whispered "Nessa's sister killed father"
