Two Of A Difference

Jacks funeral

Veronica's POV

It was finally time for jacks funeral, I'm really not looking forward to this ,I should be the one up there not him I wish I could have said something more personal to him.

Third Person POV

All of a sudden Veronica hears a knock on the door, it was Alexa "you sure you want to do this Veronica?"

"Yes, he deserves this after everything he did for me, he was my only family" Veronica said starting to tear up

"I'll give you a few moments" Alexa said as she left the room.

Veronica looks at herself in the mirror she was wearing a black a dress with a tight waist and a black bow with black converse.

"I feel like something's not right about doing this funeral... but I can't just let him go, I want to pay him my respect and that's what I'll do."

Veronica heads out the doors to walk down towards Jack's coffin.

Everyone stands up as Veronica enters the room, "I'll be right beside you" Alexa said as she holds Veronica's hand and they walk down the aisle.

Veronica looked each side to see people with there heads down and people crying which made her want to cry more.

They both had made it to the front and everyone sat down.

"We are here today to pay our respect to Jack Hayles. He was A very loyal man and always made sure everyone was safe and happy." Chief clears his throat

"we will now hear a few words from Alexa Paige"

Alexa heads up to the podium
And takes a piece of paper out and it read "Jack was a really good friend to me. When we were younger and I lost my father, jack came and comforted me when I felt scared and alone..." Alexa pauses herself for a moment to wipe the tear stains from her face.

"H-he will always be remembered for being such a great guy and I'm glad I got to know him, so this is me saying thank you jack" Alexa says as she walks of crying back to her seat.

"We will now hear from Veronica Hayles" Chief announced

Veronica slowly heads up to the podium "why does it seem so long to get there?" Veronica thought to herself but she finally made it up to the podium.

Veronica clears her throat and as she goes to speak she looks down at Alexa who says "you'll be okay" showing a very weak smile.

"Jack Hayles, the only person I can really say was family to me from the very beginning. He always had my back and would always be here when I needed him the most. Jack was really the only family member I ever had and he's gone..." Veronica stops as she starts crying about what was happening but calms herself and tries to continue her sentence "he always told me a quote that I still say and use now it was 'rejection is protection' it had such a big meaning to me when I was a bit younger but I still say it to this day. Jack still had a chance to live but it was taken away so simply by those bloodsuckers and I will get back for what is right! This is my turn to say my finale goodbyes to Jack so here I go.... Jack you will always be a big part in my life and you'll never be forgotten about by anyone, I love you Jack I hope to see you soon...."

Veronica turns around and looks at the coffin and the picture from of jack one more time "I'll miss you jack..." Veronica whispered to herself before she heads back down and hugs Alexa crying as reality hit and she knew there was nothing she can do to bring jack back....

All of a sudden three guys barge through the doors snapping the hinges "why, weren't we invited?" One of the guys said smirking.

Veronica started to clench her fist together all she knew was they were not about to ruin the funeral.

"If I was you I'd turn around and leave before things get worse" Veronica said as she started to walks down the aisle.

"I don't think so princess, I don't know if you thought about this but Jack didn't deserve a life worth living in fact we came here to celebrate the death of Jack hayle!" The three guys all laughed.

Veronica was about to charge for the guys then realised something, she wasn't the shy little girl like last time.

Veronica started laughing to herself and the boys stared in confusion.

"Try and hit me" Veronica said grinning

"If you say so" the guy starts to charge at Veronica and as he digs his claws out to attack but before he could make a move Veronica grabbers his arm and started to bend it back until it started to crack.

The guy had fell to the ground and yelled to the other guys "what are you doing?! Fight her!"

The two guys charge for Veronica while Veronica manages to knock one guy down she heard Alexa shout "Veronica look out!" As Veronica turned around the other guy her and Veronica fell to the ground and everything went black......
