Chapter 18

Yang's pov

"...you need to let her be. She's just gonna hurt you and you're gonna be left broken and alone" Sun's voice said as I began to wake. I kept my eyes closed as I listened in.

"She's not putting me in danger" Blake said back with a hint of annoyance. "She's putting everyone in danger! The more you hang around her the more she's just gonna change!"

"She's trying to change for the better Sun! Can't you see-"

"See what Blake!? That she just wants to use you?! I've seen her do this before! She's just gonna use you and then throw you away like she did the others!"

"Sun lower your voice, you might wake her" Blake said. I pretended I was still sleeping as I listened. "She won't wake. We can be having a fire with everyone screaming and she won't wake. Unless you shake her then all hell breaks loose" he said as I heard a thump.

"Anyways, trust me Blake she's just trying to get to you. First, she'll play games with you. Try to get in your head. Then, she'll tell you lies and start leaving and coming back. After that, she uses you" I wanted to laugh so much at how he described himself.

He's nothing but a fuckboi who lies, cheats, and steels! He's telling her how he handles situations like this!

"She's nothing but a coward. All she does is run" it was quiet for a moment. I was about to open my eyes when Sun spoke again. "That's why I want you to be with me Blake. I can treat you better than her. I can make you happy" it went quiet again and this time I took a peep.

My heart broke at what I saw and I closed my eyes again. She kissed Sun. She let Sun kiss her. She believed in Sun and his lies. She doesn't love me! She doesn't care about me! She cares about Sun! Sun. He's the one to blame. He's the one who told her this. He's the one who lied to her. I get the game you're playing Sun. I'll play too.

I quietly sat up and watched as they kissed. His hands rested upon her waist while her hands tangled in his hair. Just watching them made me mad. No! It mad me pissed!

I stood from my bed and walked to my closet. I pulled out some clothes, making extra noise so they know I'm up, and a towl. I turned and saw they both pulled apart and were standing away from each other with blushes on their face.

I rolled my eyes and walked into my bathroom. I set my clothes on the counter along with my towl and turned on some music. I put my playlist on shuffle and the first song that came on was "Beware" by Big Sean.

I undressed myself, turned on the water, and let the water and music sink in.

"When you said it was over, you shot right through my heart. Why'd you let these hoes tear what we had right apart? Ooh! I was so mad! I should've seen this coming right from the start! You should beware, beware, beware! Of a woman with a broken heart!"

I began washing my hair as I sang along to the rapping part.

"Praying to a sky all black Looking at the stars like they finna talk back Looking at my phone like she finna call back. But tonight I feeling probably ended all that. Cuz by now, she would've sent a text in all caps. Then another one tryna take it all back..."

I rinsed my hair then began washing my body.

"...saying 'fuck you', 'I miss you', or 'I hate you so much' cuz girls only say 'I hate you' to the guys that they love..."

I just stood in the shower, letting the water run down my body. It was so hot that steam began to fog up the mirror above the sink. I didn't mind the hottness though. What bothered me the most was what I was feeling.
