Thoughts like bubbles
Swirling around
A dizzying spell
Ensnaring my heart
Shrinking and growing
Lost and running
I am Alice
In the Red Queens palaceWho am I
To have these thoughts
To dream these dreams
How can I seek
To find the finish
When I do not know the start
I am Alice
The caterpillars callousTime ticks by
Slipping like sand
Flying through the wind
Constantly late
Never on time
Doomed to procrastinate
I am Alice
The white rabbits messWhich way is up
Which way is down
The answers blur
One and one make thirty-two
Questions arise
I only know few
I am Alice
Or tweedle dumb is it isYou see I am a mess
I am lost
Perhaps in distress
I don't know the answers
Or the questions behind
But I'll always know
I am Alice
One of a kind
