My eyes couldn't seem to move up from my feet. Mr. Kim was telling me to introduce myself. It took me a minute to get my confidence back, but I was okay.

I lifted my gaze up to the large amount of students. They were all piercing holes into me with their eyes.

"Hi. My name is (Y/N )." I bowed and then looked over to Mr. Kim again.

        'He is smiling at me...'

"Okay! (Y/N), you can go sit over there by Sumi." He said, pointing over to the empty seat in the second row, that was right next to a very beautiful girl.

"Okay." is all I said as I walked over and sat in the seat I was instructed to go to. It felt as if someone was still watching me, but I didn't want to turn my head. Instead, I just shrugged it off and took out my notebook and a pencil.

     . . . . .

The day seemed to go by pretty normal, except for lunch. That was when things messed up.

I had just gotten my lunch from the cafeteria line, and I was walking around, trying to find a table. I noticed Sumi, who I sat by in my first class, so I decided to try sitting by her. I smiled as I walked over into her direction.

        'Crap. Am I falling?'

In one single moment, I tripped over something. I fell face-first, along with my food, onto the cold floor. I was frozen for a moment, but quickly sat myself up in embarrassment. All I heard was laughing after that.

        People began saying things like:

        "Omg look at her!"

and

        "Lol what just happened?"

I didn't dare to look up, but something caught my attention. Two feet covered up with pair of Timberland boots were sitting right in front of me. I could feel tears forming in my eyes as the laughter seemed to get louder.

Finally, I really couldn't take it anymore. I stood up, and ran out of the cafeteria. My tears finally decided to let loose, as I made my way to the girls' bathroom. I stared at myself in the mirror, taking deep breaths in and out.

'It's okay. Everything will be fine once I come out of this bathroom. Everything will be okay.'

Mentally talking to myself this way seemed to help. I rinsed my face with cold water, and walked back out of the bathroom. I wasn't going to let something as small as this bring me down.

While I was walking down the halls, a few students would notice me, and start whispering to their friends, pointing at me.

'What are they looking at?' I asked myself, trying to become tough.

Since all the students were still in the lunch room, I decided to go to the library to release the rest of the left-over stress that was still dwelling within me.

When I managed to find the library, I walked in, immediately feeling relieved. It was huge, and it was beautiful. The ceiling went up really high, and the windows were big, giving the room a bright, peaceful look.

But, something even more beautiful than anything else came into my view. It was the angel. I couldn't take my eyes off of him. My heart pounded when his eyes landed on me. He gave me a warm smile that melted my heart, and walked over to me.

"What happened to you?" He asked me.

"W-what do you mean? I'm fine." He then pointed to my shirt, which was covered in mashed potatoes. I felt embarrassed because I looked like that in front of him, but also because I was just noticing this too.

He laughed at my awkward expression, pulling out a hanker chief. He held his hand out, signaling for me to take it. My face felt so hot, I thought my head was about to explode. I nervously took it from his hand.

"Well, I'll see you tomorrow." That was the last thing he said to me that day.
