Every Day Is A New Day

School

I head to school with Dustin today. Mom wrote a note saying that I was sick.

"So did you call Kris?" Dustin ask.

"Shoot, I forgot to, my mind was somewhere else." I say, trying not to swear. "It's fine,"he starts, "you can talk to her today can you?"

"Yeah." I answer.

We get to school and head to our homeroom class.

Missing, Dominic , Michael, Rick, Corey, Brandon, Ashley and Hayley.

I know that Dominic is missing, but Hayley has a academic team Game tonight, she never misses those. I'm going to have to go to one of those games to see if she's there.

"Are you going to the game tonight?" Dustin ask. "Yeah, just to see if Hayley's there or not. She haven't missed a game yet."

The bell rings and we head to our next class. Then the next. Then the next, then we head to lunch were we basically talk about the disappearances.

Then we finally get to the end of the day.

The game is a few blocks away from the school, so me and Dustin walk to the school the games at.

Dang it, I forgot to talk to Kris again. I'll text her.

We get to the school were the game is at and we don't see Hayley anywhere.

I call her and some guy answers the phone.

"If you want your friends back," he starts, "your going to have to do something for me."

I hang up the phone. I tell Dustin what happened. He calls Hayley's phone from his. No one answers.

"Someone's after us, Dustin." I say softly. He nods in agreement.
