The boys next door

Julie's POV

As I watch Christine walk to her car and drive off. I turned around to the boys. "So can we play basketball with you guys?"

Every pair of eye's turned from Christine's car to me. "Um....ya sure lets play Jo-" James was weirdly interrupted by me singing LOVE GAME by Lady Gaga.

Everybody looked at me. "What let's play reminds me of that song." I said defending myself.

"Well, okay so John with the girls against me and Brad." James said.

"Okay let's check the ball and play." Brad said. So as James and Roxie check the ball Roxie passes it to me and I throw it in the hoop. "I made it. Yay! 2 to 0!" I yelled.

As we kept playing we started losing to Brad and James with a score of 18 to 20 and whoever gets to 21 wins. We had the ball and Roxie dribbled it passed James and was gonna make a shot before Brad came and tried to get the ball. "Pass it to me! Over here!" I said. Roxie threw the ball to me and I catched it as I was about to make the shot John picked me up and put me on his shoulders. "Aah!" I yelled trying to see who picked me up from behind. "Just calm down and make the shot. I got you." he said as he walked to the basketball net. I tossed the ball in and said that's game! We win woohoo!

John starts to put me down and I start jumping up and down along with Roxie then all I knew was that I was on the floor looking around. "Ha-ha Julie you slipped again!" Roxie said in between laughs. "That's not funny Rox's!" I yelled over her laughing.

While I was trying to get up I saw some one offer me a hand. "Are you okay?" John asked worried at me.

"I'm okay, thanks." I said while taking his hand and getting up smiling weakly.

"So...um...since the game is over I'm gonna go home and rest for the afternoon." I said while starting to walk away.

"Wait Julie why don't you stay alittle longer?" John said and walked after me.

"I don't know I really should go home. How about this I spend some extra time with you guys tomorrow." I said to John.

"Okay well it was nice meeting you Julie." John said with a smile on his face. He grabed my hand and kissed it saying, "Till tomorrow I bid you a fair well."

As he walked away from me I could only hold my hand to my chest and look after him. Walking to my car I couldn't find my keys. "Oh Gosh where are my keys?" Cheeking my pockets and looking in Roxie's house I didn't see them. Looking inside my car the keys sit on the the seat. Trying all the doors to the car the back seat on the left was unlocked opening it I reached for my keys. "Wow Julie your losing it." I told myself. Getting into the drivers seat I put the keys in and drove off seeing Roxie running around the guys.
