The boys next door

James' POV

Having Roxie stay was the best idea I could have had. Being able to kiss her every morning knowing that she's safe right here in my arms makes me feel like my world has a whole new meaning. I mean before it used to be smoke, get drunk, fuck my ex, then try not to get killed. Now its wake up with this beautiful girl next to me, do something for her and come back to just having her in my arms for another day. I woke up to the feel of her playing on my chest. "Good morning Roxie." I said with a smile on my face. "How did you sleep last night?" I asked looking down at her. "I couldn't sleep." She said and laid her head on my chest. "Awe baby I know you didn't expect for that to happen but I think it was fate." I said with a smile on my face. "Why do you say that?" She asked as she sat up a little. "Because I get to have you by my side and wake up to you every day." I said and kissed her forehead. "That's nice of you to say but soon you might not want me with you." She said. "No. Don't say that. I love being with you." I said. I looked down at her to see her blushing. "You do?" She asked and looked at me. "Yes I do." I said and kissed her on the lips. "So baby what do you want to do today?" I asked and sat up. "I want to go out to the beach if you are ok with that?" She said. Of course I'm ok with that." I said and got up from the bed. "Let's take a shower then we can go." I said. I got off the bed, walking into the bathroom and turning the water on, then walking out to Roxie. "You can take a shower in my room and I'll use the other bathroom." I said getting some clothes and my towel. "Why don't you just take a shower with me? You already saw me naked." She said getting off the bed and walking to the bathroom. I walked up to her and wrapped my arms around her waist. "If it makes you happy I will but I just thought that you wanted a little space." I said and walked in and started the water. I took off my shirt and pants and I thought that Roxie was looking at my abs. I smirked and took off my boxers and got in the shower. Then she walked in and for a moment in time it felt like time stopped. She was so beautiful that it was blinding. I watched as she went under the water and let the water hit her hair and down her body. It was like watching rain fall on a little kid and seeing them run around with joy on their face.

We were in the bathroom for hours just standing in the water bathing each other till my mom came and knocked on the door and told us to get out. We laughed as we got out and dried our bodies and went to my room. I started putting on my swimming trunks and a tight black v-neck and left to give Roxie some space. I went in the kitchen to see my mom and dad talking. "Good morning!" I said and took a seat with them at the kitchen table. "Where is everyone?" I asked as I looked at them. They looked at me like I was crazy. "Son I know that a lot of things have been happening to Roxie." said my dad. "And we don't mind her staying in your room but there is one rule and one rule only." said my mom. "What is it?" I asked looking at them. "No having sex under this house hold as long as you live here! Until you get a house of your ow you can do as you please." I looked at them and all I could remember was that awkward talk about puberty and then how to use a condom... "Of course. I would never disrespect you both." I said and got up and started to make some bacon and eggs for Roxie. "I hope your making your mom something too." said my mom in a playful tone. "Of course!" I said and finished cooking and put the plates on the table and went to my room to get Roxie. "Come eat Roxi." I said and grabbed her hand and led her to the table and pulled her chair out for her to sit in. "Good morning." She said in a shy tone and took a bite of her bacon. "Mmm." She said under her breath. We all ate in silence then my parents left for work and I looked at Roxie. "How was your breakfast?" I asked and looked at her. "It was delicious who made it?" She asked as she looked at me and walked in the kitchen and started washing the dishes. "I made it." I said and came behind her and kissed her cheek. "You did?" She asked shocked. "Yeah. So you think I only work out to get these." I said and showed her my muscles. "And I not cook. I need to eat in order for these to form." I said and  picked her up clean off the floor. "James put me down!" Roxie screamed. "Come on. We're going now so it won't be to crowded later since they have a bonfire tonight." I said and put her down and grabbed my wallet and keys off the counter. "A bonfire? I wanna go!" Roxie said jumping up and down. "Ok it starts at 6 and it's only 3:30." I said and looked at her. "So what do you wanna do till then?" I asked and sat down on the chair and looked at her. "We can play a game!" Roxie said and tapped me on the shoulder and said, "Tag your it and took off running.
