The boys next door

Julie's POV

Once I walked back in the house I walked over to the couch and turned off the movie.

"Julie you know better than to invite boys over at my house!" My mom Julianne yelled.

"I know! I know! But he came here and I was sad because Roxie was in the hospital and you're never home so what did you want me to do? Send home the one person that cares!" I yelled back.

"Don't use that tone with me and I'm always here!" She said.

"No your not! Every time I try and do something with you your always going on a stupid mission!" I yelled. My mom is an FBI Agent and cant be home for so long with all the traveling they make her do. She's never home and it always upsets me. We never spent a whole day because of her job.

"That's how you feel?" She said.

"Yes that's how I feel! Now if I have to have a guy over that wants to comfort me then so be it!" I said and walked in the kitchen to get a bottle of watter. When I drank half of it, I grabbed my stuff and went straight to my room and went to sleep.

I was awaken by my phone ringing."Hello?" I said and looked at what time it was. "Roxie's up?! I'm on my way." I said and hung up the phone. I grabbed my phone and car keys and ran downstairs to see my mom in the kitchen. I started walking silently to the door. "Where are you going?" She said and looked at me. "I'm going to see Roxie she just woke up." I said and opened the door, I was almost out when she said something. "When you get back your grounded." She said. I slammed the door and went to my car. I got in and started the car and drove to see Roxie in the hospital.

As I ran in to go look at Roxie I ran into John. "Ow!" I said as I rubbed my head that I hit against his hard chest. "Oh I'm so sorry!" He said and helped me up to my feet. "What happened? How's Roxie?" I asked out of breath. "Roxie is fine. We all came out since she just wanted to talk to Christie for a sec. So Julie what happened?" John asked as he looked at me. "Nothing OK." I said and walked over to the waiting room chairs. "Something must of happened because you look shaken. Talk to me, please." He said and sat in the chair next to me. "OK. My mom grounded me for having a guy over with out her permission even though I'm seventeen and we didn't go anything and for yelling at her." I said in a rush, looking away from him. "I'm so sorry if I didn't go to your house to see how you was then you wouldn't be grounded. I am so sorry." He said and looked at me. When I looked up all I could see was true sincere in his eyes. "It's OK. Really." I said and got up. I started walking to Roxie's hospital room when Brad came around the corner. "Hi Brad." I said as I looked at him. He looked a mess like a truck came and did a hit and run. "What happened to you?" I asked, curiously. "I had some problems with Christie its alright. So how are you?" He asked. "I'm OK." I said and walked into Roxie's room and saw her look at me. I ran to her bed and hugged her. "How are you Roxie! Om-gosh I'm so glad your awake!" I said as I started to hug her tighter. "I. Can't. Breathe." Roxie said in my arms. I pulled away and pulled a chair next to her bed. "Sorry so how are you?" I asked as I looked at her. Her brown hair was a mess from not being combed, it was like a nest of hair. I grabbed my bag and took out my brush and started to brush her hair. "OK so while I was unconscious I saw Luis." Roxie said. I stopped brushing her hair and looked at her. Christie was staring at her. "You saw Luis?" I asked. "Yea." She said and looked at us. She then told us everything that happened.

"Well wow so Christie what happened to Brad. I had saw him when I came in and it looked like a truck hit him. Actually how are you two?" I said as I looked at Christie. Christie's eyes started getting watery. I kindof started to regret asking her but then again I was really curious. "Well after I took Roxie here I wanted to stay since she hates hospitals and Brad came with John and James and they all just sat here and Brad picked me up and hold me while I was crying. James had left then came back..." She said then stoped. "what? What? What happened!?" I asked trying to figure out what was happening. "Now I see where he went. Roxie I'll give it back." She said. I looked at her. What was she talking about! I watched as Christie took off a bracelet and looked at it. I walked over to Christie and saw the bracelet was engraved and it was beautiful. It must have coast him a lot. I got so caught up I forgot to ask Christie what happened. Oh well I will ask her later.
