Dang why did Roxie have to live so far? I asked in my head.
As I pay attention to the road I try not to think about John so much. When I got to a stop sign my phone started to go off. Looking at the cover to see who it was I answered the phone.
"Hello?" I said when I answered the phone.
"Julie where are you?" Roxie said on the other line.
"Ya where are you." Christy said too through the phone.
"I'm on my way I'm almost there. Why?" I asked as I turned the corner.
"We're all waiting on your slow self." Christy said and giggled along with Roxie.
"Okaayyy bye.", I said and hung up on them.
Pulling in to Roxie's drive way I saw everyone waiting on me outside on the front lawn.
"Damn you drive slow!", Roxie yelled once I got out the car.
"Ya I thought you got lost!", Christy said and giggled.
"Hahaha.", I says sarcastically.
"Hey Julie.", John said as he walked up to me and kissed my hand then my cheeks.
"Hi.", I said and started blushing.
"Ooo someones blushing.", Roxie whispered to Christy.
As they started laughing I gave them a look and they stoped laughing.
"Ok Romeo go get a room.", James said and smirked and put an arm around John.
John looked at his brother and moved his arm.
"Okay can ya'll break this up so we can go?", Christy asked.
"Ya I'm ready to go!", Roxie whined.
"I guess I'm driving then.", I said and walked back to the car and waited on them to get in.
As I looked through the window shield I saw John getting into the passenger seat and everyone stoped at the back doors talking about how they where going to fit.
"We could either sit on the guys lap" Roxie stated. "Or me and Christy can sit on each others lap in the middle." She continued.
"I like your first idea." James said with a smile on his face.
Geez this is the longest light ever! I think in my head. I look in my rear view mirror to see Roxie and Christy siting half way on James and Brad.
"Do you want me to get off your lap?" Christy asked Brad.
"It dosnt matter. Whatever you want to do is fine with me." he says and looks at me.
"I'll stay since I'm to lazy.", she said and laughed.
I look over to see Roxie and James flirting. I glanced at John who was sitting right next to me.
"So tell me about yourself Julie.", John said as he looked at me.
"Ugh okay. My background is mixed with everything...um.. I'm an A, B student and I'm 17." I said and looked at the road and started driving again.
"So what about you?" I asked as I glanced at him then back at the road.
"I'm adopted. I am Hispanic and African American..I'm an A student and I'm 17." He says and keeps looking at me. Everyone in the car looked at John.
"Hola ¿cómo estás?[hi how are you]" Roxie asked him.
"¿bueno y usted? [good and you?] John said back with no hesitation and looked at her.
"Bueno." She said and looked at him.
I can tell that Roxie was impressed by how quickly he replied back to her.
As we pulled up to the Aventura mall we walked to the entrance.
"Ooh I wanna get some shoes." Christy said and jumped up and down and Roxie joined in.
"Ya can we?" I looked at them. "I wanna go get new clothes though." I said.
"Please!" they begged.
"Really you guys rather do that than me!" I yelled.
Everyone looked at me.
"I meant go with me." I said quickly.
Roxie and Christy started laughing non-stop.
"Okay we'll look for clothes first then shoes." They said in between sentences.
As we started walking, with Roxie, Christy, and I in the front and the guys in the back.
"Ooh that guy there looks hot!" Roxie said and looked at the guy.
We all looked at the guy and Roxie was about to say he looked really cool. Then the guy put on some leather gloves and his helmet then we saw him get on a motor.... scratch that he got on a bike and went down the street.
"AWKWARD!!!!" We all said and went into the mall and went to some store called Spencers that Roxie knew about.
"I love going here they have the best sexy clothes that gets a guy looking at you." She said as she shook her hips. I wonder what is going through her mind right now............?
