Stealthily pacing across the boardwalk right outside the ice cream shop was none other than our black hooded Indie.
Carefully unzipping the rucksack and taking out the hourglass, she waited for all lights to turn off before venturing in for her daily share of delicious creamery.
Ever since she first saw the Robin Hood motion picture and read the book, she's been hooked. Which is why she steals ice cream and donates it to her stomach. Then there's this weird fact about her and how she can bare extreme cold climates without a jacket. Her mum said it was because she had good immunity which kept her body temperatures always favourable but Indie was always inclined towards magic and loved the thought of posessing magical abilities even if she didn't really.
She was always so playful, kiddish and tomboyish which is why she was left with one faithful best friend since grade 1. Alex and Indie were attached to the hip, they did almost everything together except of course steal and a few other things.
Alex would always decline Indies adventurous offers and that just made Indie try harder.
Her eyes perked up at the sight of the lights going out and she quickly rushed inside and placed her hourglass on a table. Not making the mistake of removing the other phone she'd gotten, the one she mixed up somehow. She needed to keep it safe because that was her only chance at getting her phone back, even if that meant talking to an annoying idiot.
Today she was in the mood for something tangy. Something that would tickle her tastebuds and erupt fireworks in her belly. She knew just the ice cream for this.
Tangy Lemon Twist.
She licked her lips and before the sands of time ticked off, her cooler was filled with the ice cream to the brim as she wheeled it out and escaped yet again.
"Easy as pie" Indie smirked to herself as she returned to her apartment.
Alex was waiting outside her apartment which was thankfully beside Indie's.
"WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?!?!?! NO NOTE BAG GONE-" Alex began at her arrival.
"Chill it Mrs. Weasley... You know the usual"
Being major potterheads that sent the two into a fit of laughter. It was an everyday thing that it actually became funny. Indie would return and Alex would repeat the same ol' dialogue in the same voice.
The two bade each other goodbye before returning back to their beds in their homes and falling asleep like the good girls they were,or at least Alex was, even Indies mom knew she was pretending.
