Indie stealthily walked against her front yard as she quietly approached her front door and turned the knob to open it. She peaked in and walked inside slowly with her hands ready to ice her next victim, preferably Jason - the guy who kidnapped her friend and tried to kill her multiple times.

"I knew you'd come soon Indie and i'm so glad you're alone" Jason sneered. Indie glared at him through her fierce eyes that it could've burned him right there on the spot. "Where is he? your fights with me not him, leave Alice alone!" Indie glared daggers at Jason.

"Ah yes, all you have to do is give me your blood and I might let you and your boyfriend go" He smirked and inched his way creepily towards Indie. She kept walking backwards until her back was touching the wall, her hands were sweating now as he kept coming closer and closer. Her heart was now forming a lump in her throat as her nerves raced within her. Adrenaline rushed through her body and as he took another step toward her, almost an arms distance away was when all hell broke loose.

Ice shot out of her finger tips and the sharp shards of icicles sent him flying across her living room over a sofa and slammed him hard into the opposing wall almost impaling him. The ice shard dug deeper and deeper as Indie controlled it with her hand and motioned it to go deeper. He was sweating now and almost choking but he wouldn't die. Indie knew she couldn't kill him. She never wanted to hurt or kill anyone even if she really hated them.

She paused her movements and everything stopped where it was, the little storm of ice and snow that had circled around her in the air dropped instantly as the temperature of the room grew eerily colder. "Listen Jason, I do not want to hurt or kill you but you have clearly lost this battle so all I ask is you do exactly as I say and cooperate with me and you will be a free man. okay?"

Jason frantically nodded as a bead of sweat trickled down his forehead. "Good."Indie said, "now tell me, where have you hidden Alice?" Jason gulped and croaked out, "In the bedroom upstairs tied to a chair"  Indie satisfied with the answer continued to interrogate him, "Okay now promise me, you will never lay another finger on me or my dad and will never try to kill, maim or taken either of our bloods okay?"

"Okay" Jason gulped agreeing to the conditions as he fought through how tight an stiff his neck was becoming, not to mention how incredibly cold the room was that his fingers had gone numb and frozen to death. His feet felt horribly cramped from the awkward position. Indie rung her wrists in a circular motion and immediately Jason found himself locked in icy handcuffs as his hands and legs were tied making him unable to move at all.

Indie rummaged in the drawers for a matchbox and took a matchstick out. Jason's eyes widened with fear as Indie smiled at his expression only telling him to relax. She lit the matchstick and melted the icicle that had almost impaled him in the neck. Jason dropped like a sack of potatoes and Indie helped him to his feet before icing him to a chair. She went up to her room and let out a happy cry as she saw Alice over there.

"Alice.." she said unable to form any words as tears of happiness streaked down her face, he was something else and over time he had become something special for her. She worked her way through the ropes and freed him before squeezing him in a tight hug and crying a little on his shoulder as she murmured something.

"What did you say Indie? didn't quite catch that" He said genuinely, she spoke louder this time, "I'm sorry I stained your jumper with my tears" Alice laughed at her silliness and hugged her tighter. When they stepped away, Indie blushed a little before covering it up and hoping he didn't notice. "L..Let's go"

They went down and grabbed Jason from both sides before heading to the police station and handing him over. Their parents and Alex came there just in time as they were leaving and engulfed the two of them in a big hug. "I was worried sick Indie!!!" her mom said as she cupped Indie's face in her hands and kissed her all over just like what Alice's mum was doing to Alice.

"Dad, we won't have to worry over Jason anymore. Also..Ms. Weldon, I really love your ice creams" Indie smiled and looked over at Alex and Alice as the three of them chuckled at her inside joke. Alex and Indie hugged each other to death before they all went back home.

They all parted ways to go home with the promise of meeting again tomorrow. Indie and her parents entered their house a little while later and Indie turned to face her parents once they were all in the living room.

"Mum, Dad, Can I ask you both for a small favour?"

"Ofcourse Indie, Anything for you" They both said at the same time.

"I want to live as a normal family. I want you both to quit your divorce and get married again so that we can all live together again as normal happy family"

They were silent for a few moments and just when her smile was about to fade away, her mom said, "If that's what you want so be it. We will put our differences aside just for you"

Indie was so overwhelmed with happiness that she lunged at the two of them and squealed in delight as she hugged them both so tightly with no intention of letting either of them go. Her parents lightly chuckled and let out a little laugh as she released after a little while.

"Good night guys" She said as she walked to her room and waited for the lights to go out and for them to start snoring. As soon as the first snore reached her ears, she pulled her mask over her face and grabbed her trusty rucksack and timer heading towards the one thing that started it all, the one thing that always calmed her but now with a twist.

Indie quickly grabbed a tub of ice cream from the shop and left 200 dollars on the counter top to pay for all the other times she'd taken it without asking. She had been doing this for about five years and according to her calculations, she owed Ms. Weldon 200 dollars including todays purchase.

Quickly taking her things and her hourglass, Indie left the shop without a trace, hoping she'd have brought a smile on Ms. Weldon's face with the mysterious money appearing.

Life was going more than great for all of them and Indie couldn't wait to taste what the future held for them.
