Everything should be just right.

From the scent of dew drops from freshly trimmed grass in the morning,
To the wind's warm caresses on my cheeks,
To the chirping of birds flying in the light blue sky,
Up to the steamy cup of coffee in my hands.

Everything, to me, should always be normal...

Yet deep down,
I can't help but wonder why-

Why is my life missing something?

It's like I'm reading a book with ripped pages,
A swirl of memories trying to form a coherent sentence.

As a photographer,
I should be able to memorize all that I capture inside the lens of my camera.

Every smile of a celebration,
Every tearful reunion of long-forgotten love,
Everything should be written in my mind as if it is a second camera.

Everything should be just right-

Yet why does it feel like I'm forgetting something?
