"What you're not going?!"
Miri's disappointed that I can't attend the club today,
I try to assure her that I'll make sure to make up for today,
Sparing her no room for an argument as I quickly take my leave.
The Student Council's office is right next to ours,
I take in a deep breath to regain my composure,
Shijima's face is the only thing I can think about.
It's odd how he has this hold over me,
Like a string tugging at me,
Beckoning me to him.
Even though I'm sure that we've never really met personally,
My heart and gut feeling tell me otherwise.
That's why I had to ascertain the truth,
To know why my heart had moved when I saw him.
He had recognized me too,
The look of familiarity in his eyes told me so.
And yet the warring in my mind and heart refuses to believe,
To believe that Shijima Takeru means more to me than just another student.
Only he can give me an answer...
