Nino had to go back in a take a test before lunch was over and Alya accompanied him back into the school. Leaving the two love birds to themselves. They had gotten to known each other more through asking 20 questions. It's a game Chat always tried to get Ladybug to play but was always turned down, as to keep personal information private. But seeing as that was no longer a problem anymore they can play his game. They both learned their favorite colors, animals, school subject, you know the usual, basic stuff.  Neither wanted to impose on the other's super personal stuff, but Adrien did tease about it a lot, which made Marinette blush and fuzzy but irritated at the same time.

Adrien's eye caught something out of the ordinary, something he wasn't expecting to see. Someone was staring right at him. Adrien knew life as a model would be filled with weirdos and stalkers, however this was something different. The person didn't seem like a crazed fan; they weren't wearing anything related to Adrien, nor had a camera to take pictures of him. The person was just looking at him. Adrien couldn't gather anything else about the person from the distance he was at, even with his heightened sight. Marinette was able to pull him out of his thoughts. She looked worried, and asked him,

"Is everything alright? You seem distant." Adrien forced a smile and shook his head.

"No everything is fine. I just thought I saw something." Marinette found little comfort in his words, but if he wasn't worried about it then she'd try to not be so worried either. They finished up their lunch and went back to class. Neither of them saw Chloe for the rest of the day. Since they knew Hawk Moth could only control one Akuma at a time, they figured she couldn't have been Akumatized. They thought she must've just went home to complain to her father about Marinette and Adrien. It was inevitable, but Adrien wished it went a little better. Chloe might not have been that great of a friend, but she was a long time friend and he at least had the decency to be nice to her. Adrien never understood why the two hated each other. Marinette's mom always told her it was because Chloe was jealous of Marinette and her natural talents. Marinette didn't know whether or not that was true, but it made some sense. Chloe had tried to steal her diary and designs to make herself look good. It still doesn't excuse her from her behavior and attitude towards Marinette.

Adrien had to stick around after school for all of his lessons, but would swing by afterwards for a pastry or two. Marinette's face lit up like a Christmas treewas to hear him say that. The two fumbled around a bit trying to decide if they wanted to kiss or to hug their goodbyes, and after a bit of awkward laughter they decided on a quick kiss and departed with red covering both of their faces.

The one thing keeping Adrien awake during regular and repetitive practices, was the thought of seeing Marinette's sweet, pretty smile and hearing her delightful voice. Once practice was over, Adrien had to plea with Gorilla to let him make a quick detour at Marinette's family bakery. Adrien said he'd make it quick and rushed into the store.

He knew he had to get something small as to not mess with his diet as a model. To be honest he could afford to eat extra sweets, being a crime fighting superhero does work up an appetite, however he couldn't really be open about that to his dietitian. Adrien picked out a blueberry muffin, and after it was paid for he asked if he could see Marinette before he went home. Sabine and Tom gladly let him go up to her room, they were quite fond of him, Marinette knew how to talk up a guy. Adrien had already started eating his muffin as he climbed the stairs and entered Marinette's room. She was sitting down at her desk doing homework from today and yesterday, Marinette and Adrien both missed the rest of the day due to the Akuma attack so they had to make up their work.
