Adrien slumped down on his couch, leaving a piece of Camembert; from his lunch that was prepared for him at home, on his desk for his Kwami to enjoy. Adrien barely got through any of his first course deciding that he wasn't that hungry. His father had grounded him and refused to let him spend any time outside of home unless it was related to school/ his practices or photo shoots. He wasn't allowed to go over to anyone's houses or invite them over to have lunch with him until he return what he took from his father. Adrien was tempted to text Ladybug to see if they could return the book, once Master Fu was done with it, but he thought against it. The book was too valuable to just return it and Adrien was willing to accept the repercussions of it. He walked over to his computer chair and decided to check the Lady Blog, although nothing had updated since last week. The last Akuma attack had been Volpina, and the last sighting of Ladybug or Chat Noir had been on top of Notre Dame all those days ago, nothing even about their late night stroll. Adrien sighed as he was about to go lay down for the rest of lunch break when their came a knock on his window. Hanging from her yo-yo upside down came a familiar bug themed super heroine. She gave a small wave, and gestured if she could come in. Plagg had already dipped out of sight at the knock and without a second thought, Adrien opened up his window and let her in. Ladybug landed gracefully, and Adrien almost swooned. It took almost all of his energy and courage to get him to speak.

"My La...erm uh Ladybug... What brings you back here? Is my father in trouble again?" If that was the case why didn't she text Chat about it. She shook her head and started to twiddle her fingers.

"No no, I came to see y-you..." this was harder than Ladybug imagined it would be. She honestly didn't think this through to be honest. Marinette had figured it be easier to talk to him as Ladybug, but it only helped a little. Tikki tried to reason with her that transformating Adrien probably wasn't the best course of action, but Marinette said it would be just quick visit to check up on him. Adrien's face became as red as Ladybug's suit. She came just to see him?

"Oh uh thanks..."Adrien could've sworn he heard is voice crack as he said that and mentally chastised himself for embarrassing himself like that. He never did that as Chat Noir, even when his feelings were out there. Ladybug gave a giggle that broke the tension a little bit.

"Your welcome, I just wanted to make sure that you were okay." Adrien smile had warmed Ladybug's heart. Their eyes locked in place together. Adrien was lost in the sea that was Ladybug's blue eyes, and Ladybug traveled through the green fields of Adrien's. Adrien finally snapped back to earth, and he took the time to come up with something to say.

"Would you...uh..uh... would you like to stay for lunch? I got plenty of food." Ladybug paused and thought for a moment. She supposed that Tikki wouldn't mind if she stayed for a bite or two. She nodded and Adrien jumped for joy, which enlisted another giggle from Ladybug. Adrien became very red in the face, he tried to calm himself down. He sat down on his couch with one leg crossed over the other and patted at the spot next to him. Ladybug gladly sat down and waited for him to take some food before she herself grabbed some and started eating. They were both famished, but Ladybug paid more attention to the room. All times she's been in there, she never really got a good chance to look around the room. It was filled with some pretty amazing stuff, but the room still felt empty and cold. No color was present on the walls except white and the red of the rock climbing wall. But there were hardly any decorations: a few posters, no wallpaper, not even many pictures and portraits. Their were only a few of them but they mainly only included his mom. Ladybug couldn't help but to constantly think about how lonely Adrien must've been. She's never had one of her parents gone, she's always had friends to help her, she just really felt a lot of empathy towards Adrien. Then as if her body where reacting to her thoughts alone, she scooted closer to him on the couch until their shoulders and knees were touching.
