Miraculous Ladybug: Volpina's Return

Queen B's Arrival

It had been a few days since the break in, and there had been no sign of the robber. Adrien had been scanning the area to see if that person had decided to stalk him again. He told Marinette about the person as well, how the person watched him from a far and also had broken in. She too kept a look out for the person as well. They planned to meet at school early to devise a plan and patrols, without anyone over hearing them. Once people started filling they put away their plans and went to their first class.

Chloe had still not been seen. It wasn't like her to just be absent, sure she might not care about school, but she too had an image to keep like Adrien. According to the teacher Chloe has been sick and is at home resting. The four friends didn't believe that, as they recalled what went down yesterday. She was probably still crying her eyes out. Adrien started felling a very heavy guilt, while it was very necessary to tell her that, he did feel bad for causing her so much pain. The other three sympathized but only out of empathy. Adrien tried to contact her, but she had her phone off. Chloe didn't see any of his texts and any calls would go to voicemail. He begun to really worry about Chloe, she's never ignored him before. Not even Sabrina had any clue, she hasn't been allowed to see her since. While they all thought Chloe's behavior to be questionable, they still had school to focus on.

The four went to Marinette's family bakery for lunch, a welcoming change for them all. School really kept them bogged down. Marinette's parents were busy in the bakery, as usual, and let them go up and help themselves to left overs from last night's dinner. They chowed down, cracking jokes about the tests they've had so far today. After they finished up their meal they played Mecha Strike III, couples team, which Adrien and Marinette crushed the other two. Tom brought up some pastries for the teens to have before they headed back to school.

The group was just about to cross the street when they heard a crash in the distance. Marinette and Adrien both had determined looks on their faces, as they have faced this situation multiple times. They turned to Alya and Nino and pointed to the school,

"Quick get to the school, it'll be safe there." Nino had a questioning look, but Alya knew what they were trying to do.

"Come on Nino, lets go!" Alya dragged Nino away before he could get a word out. Once they were out of sight, Adrien and Marinette ducked into an alley. Moments later the alley was a mixture of green and pink, and Ladybug and Chat Noir flew from the alleyway.

Alya managed to separate herself from Nino and got back outside. She ducked into an alleyway and Trixx flew out.

"Oh I'm so excited! Your first mission! Oh I love these times! Come on transform already!" Trixx had been zooming all around Alya, she was more hyper than Alya's sisters on a sugar high. Alya was excited too, but extremely nervous. However she couldn't miss out on helping her friends. Orange light flooded the alleyway and Rena Rouge took off.

Chat and Ladybug jumped over the roofs toward the crashes. Cars had been flipped over and buildings were in ruins. They went around checking to see if any civilians were in need of help, however it was too quiet, not a soul stirred. Something wasn't quite right and it left the two very on edge.

"I've got a bad feeling about this, Chat." They kept close, watching each other's backs. When suddenly Chat's ears perked up to the sound of whistling. He grabbed Ladybug and ducked them down behind a car. They couldn't tell what hit the car but it had pierced the one side of the car. Carefully they peered over the car and noticed little needles stuck in the side of the car. They were completely puzzled as to were they came from, but didn't have to guess for long as blur of yellow and black zoomed past them. Chat immediately picked up on a sound, similar to wings flapping at high speeds. Meanwhile Ladybug noticed the design of the suit; the mask covers up the same amount as Ladybug's but instead of spots, the mask had a mixture of black and yellow. A majority of the suit was yellow, with black stripes around her stomach and legs. The gloves and boots were also black. The only thing that felt off was the fact that the whites of the person's eyes turned purple.
