I waited in the lobby of the hotel just waiting to see if Noctis would come back or not. I was worried. The sun was already setting and he wasn't even back. I suddenly see four figures walk in and they all look at me. "I'm glad you're ok." I say with a relieved smile. "Were you that worried?" Noctis asks with a smirk and I feel my cheeks heat up as I cross my arms and scoff. "Sure. I mean there were demons out there and you all could've gotten killed. I was worried for all of you." I say and I suddenly feel Akiko's arm wrap around my shoulder. "Smooth." she says to me and I glare at her. "Shut up." I say shrugging her arm off my shoulder. "Anyway, we're staying here since the boats don't come in till tomorrow." Aileen says and I nod. "Guess we're staying here also." Prompto says and he turns to look at Akiko with a flirtatious smile and she winks. "Ok, we're just gonna go to our room." Aileen says as she grabs Akiko's arm and drags her away. "I'm going to check us in." Ignis says and the men nod. "See you guys in the morning, I guess." I say and start to walk away. I eventually walk to the room and look at the girls sitting on the couch in the living room of our room. "I'm gonna go take a shower." I say to them and I walk into the bathroom.

After I take a shower, I just change into my clothes and brush my hair, then go into the living room. "I'm gonna grab something to drink. You guys want anything?" I ask the girls and they shake their heads. I eventually walk out and go to a vending machine. I grab a bottled water and start to head back, but I spot a certain blonde waiting in the hallway. "If you were expecting to see Akiko, you were mistaken." I say to him with a smile and a hand on my hip. "As much as I'd like to see Akiko, I was actually here to see you." Prompto says and my smile suddenly disappears. "Oh. What did you want, Prompto?" I ask him as I grab my arm holding the water bottle. "I wanted to talk to you about you and Noct." Prompto says to me and I look down. "Listen, Prompto, me and Noctis are just good friends. Nothing less and nothing more." I say as I start to walk away. "Are you sure it's nothing more, Aurie?" he asks me and I stop in my tracks. "Man, Gladio's right! You and Akiko are similar." I say as I turn to him with a smile. "I'll take that as a compliment." he says and I chuckle.

"I hoped you would." I say.

"So, what's going on between you and Noct?" he asks me.

"Nothing. We're just friends."

"Sure. "Just friends" would stay in the lobby worrying about someone."

"Well, yeah. Every time you part from Noctis, don't you worry?"

"Yeah, but not as much as you did. I saw that smile when we came back. You were really relieved when you saw Noct."

"It was a friendly smile."

"No. It wasn't."

"You're saying that I like Noctis?"

"I would say more than like."

I roll my eyes and start to walk back to my room, only for Prompto to block my path. "You should really tell him how you feel, because I know for a fact that he feels the same way." he tells me. "Even if did tell him, there's no way that he and I would get together. He's going to marry Luna. I can't stop that, even if I wanted to." I say to him as I look down. "You know, ever since we started this journey, Noct seemed a bit off. But after you helped us, he couldn't keep his eyes off of you. Even after he figured out it was you." Prompto says and I look at him with wide eyes. "He loves you, Aura." he says and I feel my heart beat grow. "I gotta go." I say to Prompto as I walk around him and dash into my room. "What happened?" Aileen asks as she looks at me. "You look shocked." Akiko says and I cross my arms. "I'm just gonna go into my room." I say and walk in, then lock my door. As much as I'd want to talk to my friends about this, it seemed like I want to actually process this new information on my own. I start to feel my face heat up, so I walk over to the window and open it to let the fresh air hit me. I feel the cool breeze hit my face and it starts to cool me instantly. I just wish I could tell Noctis how I felt about him, but it's just so hard. I looked at the stars shining and I just remembered those late nights in the garden in either Lucis or Alesia with Noctis.
