We arrived at Michaels and I walked into the kitchen, Megan following behind, ranting about how Shaun hasn't text her back yet. I grab a bottle of water out of the fridge take a sip. Megan and I were sat on the barstools on our phones when I hear the front door open and close and Michael and his friends muffled shouting filled my ears. They were all talking at once I could not understand a thing they were saying. I get down off the barstool and walk into the living room where the boys were sat.
"Can you keep it down? You're being way to loud." I complain and Michael just laughs. I raise my brows and he clears his throat.
"Little sister. As the owner on this house I give myself permission to be as loud as I fucking want. Now, get back in the kitchen or go upstairs, we have some serious party planning to get into." He fist bumped Calum and confusion flooded my body.
"I thought you only threw a party once a month? You literally had one last night." I crossed my arms over my chest and he groaned.
"You're so fucking nosey." he groaned, throwing his head back, "It's Calum's twentieth birthday tomorrow if you must know, now leave." I scoffed and shouted Megan to bring our drinks upstairs.
We made our way to my room and laid on the bed. What felt like hours passed as we binge watched Netflix shows while eating junk food before be decided to check the time. I lazily flopped my arm onto the bedside table and searched for my phone with my hand. Once I grasped my phone I clicked the home button to reveal the time. "11:47pm" was plastered onto my lockscreen.
"Stay overnight please. Michael isn't back yet and I don't want to be alone." I pleaded Megan. Michael went out not long after we came upstairs and has still to return. He has major issues and it doesn't take a genius to figure out that alcohol is the main issue and the cause to all the others.
Megan nodded. "Let me just text my mum." She pulled her phone out of her bra and I rolled my eyes at the fact that she still puts her phone there after everything I've told her. I strongly disagree with storing your phone in your bra because of the obvious reason being that it causes breast cancer. She still insists I'm wrong and does it anyway but I have science on my side and I know I'm right. She sent the text and it wasn't long until we were both out cold.
I shot up as I heard a bang downstairs causing me to gasp, shortly after Megan woke up with a confused yet frightened look on her face.
"What was that?!" Megan whisper yelled. I shrugged my shoulders and climbed out of bed. My first instinct was to check Michael's room to see if he was in bed or if it was just him downstairs but I couldn't make out if he was in the bed or not. I tense up as I heard another noise coming from in the kitchen. I stood at the top of the stairs debating wether to go down or not then after a few seconds, I took the first step. I slowly crept downstairs and just as I reached the sofa, another noise came from in the kitchen. Slowly, I walked over to the kitchen doorway and pushed the handle down. As I pushed the door open I let out a breath when I realised who it was.
"Calum you dick! You scared the shit out of me." I whisper yelled and he chuckled. "I'm struggling to see what's funny."
"If I was a burglar why would I be in the kitchen making myself a bowls of mint chocolate chip ice cream?" He questioned as he put the tub of ice cream back in the freezer. I rolled my eyes and sat on one of the barstools. He took the seat in front of me and began eating his ice cream.
"Why are you still here anyway? I could swear you left hours ago." I asked as I reached over to the fruit bowl and grabbed an apple.
"Michael said I might as well just stay the night because we have to go shopping for my party later." He explained and I just nodded.
