I wrap the the purple towel around my body and wipe the steamy mirror in front of me revealing my sweaty reflection. My eyes were baggy and my body was limp. I got one hour sleep last night and I felt like utter shit.
I support myself up by placing one hand on the sink as I use the other to brush my teeth. Once I had finished I drag my feet across the carpet flooring on my room and over to my wardrobe, pulling out a random pair of black jeans and a white blouse to match. Satisfied with my appearance, I walk downstairs and see Michael walking out of the kitchen. Completely ignoring his presence, I throw myself onto the sofa, almost instantly drifting off into a well needed nap.
------
For a nap that felt like seconds, it completely cured my tiredness. My eyes peel open and I see a couple of blurred figures standing around the living room, chatting to each other. Once my eyes fully adjusted, I was able to make out that the people in the living room where of corse, Michael's friends.
I sit up, rubbing my eyes and let out a yawn. "How long was I sleeping for?" I ask Michael. I look over at him only to notice that Tori was here too. I smile at her and she does the same.
"About four hours." He shrugged and I nod.
After a couple of seconds, I stand up, taking my time to walk upstairs and grab my phone then make my way back down, sitting back down in the spot I left.
I unlock my phone, checking all of my notifications only to see that I have a text from Luke.
Luke: meet me at the mall?
Me: I'm so sorry I was sleeping, do you still want me to meet you? Is it important?
Luke: not important. I just want to see you.
I smile at the message and I feel someone's eyes on me. I look up only to see Calum glaring at me. I roll my eyes at him and he sighs.
Me: I'll be there in 10
I lock my phone and stand up. I was about to piss Calum off so much, he'd feel just as pissed as I was when I found out about him and what he had the audacity to do to me right after breaking up.
"I'm going to meet Luke. I don't know when I'll be back so don't wait up." I say to Michael. I make sure to catch a glimpse of Calum before walking out the door and his face was pure gold. He looked as if he was about to kill.
I walk along the garden path quickly as I hear the front door open and close. I speed up as much as I could but when I feel a hand grab my arm, I stop, turning around to reveal Calum.
"Look, I get that you two are a thing or whatever but you don't need to fucking rub it in my face." He growls and I raise my eyebrows in disbelief.
"Listen, Calum. Not everything I do is about you. I was telling my brother who I was going to meet so he didn't have to wonder so get your head out of your fucking ass and piss off." I scowl and he just glares at me. Maybe I did say it to piss him off but karma is a mother fucking bitch and he deserves it.
He opened his mouth to say something but the front door opens and Michael stood in the doorframe. "Come back inside Calum." He says bluntly and I look at Calum with a defeating grin on my face.
It didn't take long for me to get to the mall, I walk fast when I'm alone so I was there within five minutes. I text Luke and tell him in here as I look around the crowded mall trying to see if I could find him. He texts me back in no time telling me his upstairs and in his way down so I tell him I'm in he foodcourt and wait patiently.
