I sat down in the passenger seat, feeling my costume squelch beneath me. I could pee myself right now and you wouldn't be able to tell the difference. That is how wet this seat was. He sat down in the drivers seat, bringing the car to life as we drove off, listening to the radio over our conversation so when it died down it wasn't silent.

We reached an area that i finally recognised again and waited for him to turn left up Michael's street but he did the complete opposite, turning right.

"Uh Luke, Michael's house is the opposite way." I look at him and raise an eyebrow when he smirks.

"I know." He says, turning up the next street.

I didn't bother questioning him any further as we drove slowly down a street filled with houses as big as my own. He pulled up outside a large white house and turned off the engine then climbed out. He shut his door and walked over to my side of the car, opening my door for me and grabbing my hand, helping me out of the car. The wind that was blowing through the window had made my swimming costume damp so I throw my swim cover over my head and onto my body before walking any further.

I grab my bag out of his car and walk up the path. He puts his key in the door, unlocking it and rushing me up the stairs. He put his finger on his mouth as a signal for me to be quiet.

"Mum I'm home!" He called out. I hear foot steps and he pushes me around the corner of the hall.

"Oh hey sweetie, how was your night at Michael's?" She questions, sounding really happy to see him. God I miss my mum. I wish I wasn't in such a pissy mood when she left.

"It was great, I'm going into my room, probably going to hit the pillow for a couple of hours so I'll come down when I wake up, okay?" He replied hurriedly. I roll my eyes and smile at his basic cover up.

"Are you not hungry?" She questioned and he shook his head.

"No, I had something to eat before we went to the beach." He lied.

"Oh right okay. Well go get some sleep if you're tired." She said and he nodded and waited for her to disappear from the bottom of the stairway.

He let out a breath, gesturing me to follow him down the hallway and into his room. He laid down on his bed and I stood awkwardly beside the oak chester drawer he had beside his door.

All the furniture in the room was oak and his walls were a dark shade of grey, along with his carpet. The bedding was dark blue, matching the curtains he had blocking the natural light from shining through his window.

He chuckled and I realised I was just standing awkwardly, staring around his room. I smile at him as he pats the bed beside him, offering me to sit down. I walk over, sitting down on the tall bed, my legs dangling off the side.

"My mum doesn't like the idea of me having girls over because of how Ben used to be." He rolled his eyes and my eyebrows knit together.

"But you're old enough, aren't you?" I question.

"Not according to my mum. She said eighteen isn't old enough and you should be at least 21 before you even have a girlfriend, let alone a sex life. As you can tell, I disagree." He chuckles and I do to.

The thought of Luke being with other girls makes a lump form in my throat, I know I have no rights to feel jealous seeing as we aren't even dating but I just can't help it. I'm a really jealous person.
