Part One/ Grand Opening

I'm am so excited to be finally opening up my restaurant I dreamed about this my whole life. Today is the day of  my grand opening for my restaurant. As I think back on how people would down me, telling me I would never make it and I just was a stupid girl that wasn't gone be nothing in life but a house wife. Well I fooled them look at me now I have something to call my own. I go by Kandy I'm from Memphis and I went to school for Culinary Arts and business management. This how I'm here today for my grand opening. I had to make sure everything was in place for tonight, nothing could go wrong at this time hopefully not as I thought to myself. Only thing that was going to be wrong was I had no date to walk in with me. I was going to be  lonely watching all the happy couples wishing it was me smiling at the love of my life. I had to look on the bright side my bestfriend Alyssa and her boyfriend John would be there to keep me company.

The dress and shoes that I wore was custom made with my initials on them K.J, my hair was done by my bestfriend Alyssa,the only person that does my hair besides another good friend of mines. As I was getting ready I got a call from my ex-boyfriend Michael, what does this man want today. Hello Michael, what do you want now? He does that sexy deep laugh and say you baby girl. I roll my eyes no really what you want tell me before I hang up on your ass I have a life you know. Baby girl did you get them flowers I sent you today?  Yes I did and the chocolate candy that you got me and money. Michael I don't need you sending me money I can take care of myself I'm grown I'm not your women anymore. As soon as I said them words he starts to laugh Kandy stop playing baby you know you will always have a spot in my heart. The conversation goes on I'm try d of talking to him I have things to get done. I had to hang up on his ass all he cares about is self and money. gosh I couldn't stand his ass for nothing all he did was lie and cheat then buy me things to make up for it. Any women would drop when they saw him I cannot lie and say that he was not fine at all which he was. That man was Tall 6'2 dark skinned fine always kept his self together had a good paying job but he was just not for me. It was going on 7:30 I had to be at the restaurant by 8 to let the people in at 8:30. On my way to the restaurant I thought about how many people was gone be there and how would they like the food that was prepared for them tonight. I pulled up to the restaurant got out smiling ear to ear it was so beautiful just how I imagine it. When I walked in and looked around I could start crying because all this hard work have paid off good. I talk to my staff and made sure everybody knew what they was doing tonight and to thank them for coming in tonight it might so much to me. The time as come for me to open the door and cut the ribbon to begin a new start.

Hello everyone I want to thank you for coming out tonight for my grand opening tonight as you can tell I'm very excited I been waiting on this day my whole life and I hope everybody enjoy there meals and have a good time once again thank you everybody. As the night went by I walk around greeting people and asking them how there night was going and did they like everything. I was tried by then so I went back to the section I was sitting in and my best friend was sitting there with roses in her hand Congratulations bestie I'm so proud of you I knew you could doo it Boo.  I smiled thank you so much boo; My best friend always believed in me when nobody else did and I was so thankfully to have her as a bestfriend.

Where John at Alyssa? He should be on his way now girl he going to get one of his homeboys. When she said that he John came walking in with this guy that was somewhat tall he had a fade with four braids at the top of his head.

As they walked up I asked Alyssa who is that guy? Kandy girl that's Von he an old friend on John's player type boo "said Alyssa. Rolling my eyes putting a poker face on John walk up and give me a big congratulations little sis I'm so proud of you. This is my friend Vontae I wanted to bring him tonight so you would have company and maybe y'all can get to know each other . Yeah right I didn't want to get to know this man at all but let me play nice tonight is my night and he's right I don't want to be sitting here lonely by myself while everybody having fun. Hey how you doing ma Vontae says?  I'm doing good what about yourself? Well I was having a bad night before I saw you. Oh really you was; so what's your type Mr.Von if you don't mind me asking you. My type is slim light skin fat ass nice face with a sexy body. Well that's nice tell me about yourself. Why did I ask this man that he went on and on about his self never once asked me about myself or even asked me any questions that's how my night pretty much ended listing to his ass.
