Chapter Three

~Quinn's P.o.V.~

I guess the anticipation was killing him, too, because as soon as I stepped out of the classroom I locked eyes with the most dazzling green eyes I'd ever seen.

"Mate!" Screamed Cayenne, howling in joy.

I was frozen. I couldn't look away as he quickly swept up to me. I barely came up to his very muscled chest. His eyes, though. Oh my word his eyes. They were so captivating.

He lightly grabbed the back of my head, slowly moving it to cup my cheek. The sparks that went off made me melt into his touch. "What's your name, my love?" he asked in such a husky, deep voice. His voice alone had me turned on.

"Qu..Quinn" I mentally face-palmed myself.

"Quinn huh?" I shivered, while Cayenne purred, at how natural my name sounded coming from him, "How about me and you get out of here?"

"I, I, I can't. It's my first day, and I want to leave a good first impression, and I can only do that if I'm here at school..." I could feel myself starting to ramble, but I couldn't help it. It's what I do when I'm nervous.

Amusment danced through his eyes. "How about you tell me what your next class is then? So I can walk you to it."

I started to ease around him and said "Its math, with Mrs.Brewer, so sure, but it's not that long of a walk." I was stopped in my tracks when the now familiar sparks errupted through my hand.

"How about I walk you through the door and to your new seat in the back of the class. Right next to me."

I couldn't help it. I broke out into a wide smile.

All throughout math we were poking eachother in the sides, or tapping each other on the shoulder. Just small gestures, but I couldn't have been happier. When the bell rang, I was reluctant to leave. He had science next and I had language arts. He told me that after schol he was going to get his schedule switched to fit mine. Who knew that moving to Oregon could have been such a blessing? I certainly didn't.

Sitting through launguage arts was hell without him. I had no idea how quickly the mate bond can form, and leave you feeling empty without that person. Like there was a gaping hole in your stomach. Lunch was after this. So I tried to think of a few ways to mess with him. This was going to be fun.

(I was going to end it there, but I decided to be nice :P)

I made my way to the cafeteria to find I was the last one of my friends to get there. Hey, it's not my fault you need a map to get around in this school. I was slightly shocked, but not all that suprised to see my mate sitting with them. This was going to be too easy. I made my way over and strated to sit across the table from him, when I accidentally dropped my napkin. I set my tray of food down, and just happened to bend over to grab it where my mate had a full view of my butt. Which looked amazing today, thanks to my most amazing jeans. I smirked when I saw his legs tense under the table. All of this going unnoticed by the rest of my pack who were sitting there at the table. I took my seat and began eating, but not before seeing just a light swirl of, lust maybe? Everyone was laughing and having a good time. I mindlinked Nicole to make up an excuse to get us away from the table for a minute.

"Hey guys, I'll be right back, bathroom, Quinn will you come with me?" Nicole started.

"Yeah, sure.' I tried to say casually. As soon as we were far enough away, casual went out the window.

"You have two mintues to explain!" Nicole flipped out on me.

I laughed and got my phone out to set a stopwatch. It's just something me and her do. If you have news, you literally have two minutes to explain as best as you can.

"Alright, alright. You know the guy who was sitting with us?"

"Yeah, he's hot!" Typical Nicole right there.

"Well......hejustsohappenstobemymate," I rushed out.

She looked at me confused and I realized she didn't hear.

"He just so happens to be my mate" I blushed at the ground.

"WHAT!!! That's awesome!" Nicole's face lit up, "but why did you need me to bring you out here?"

"Um yeah, about that..."

Oh my gosh!! 57 reads!! You guys are amazing. But I have a really important question to ask you guys. I have two ideas where I can head from the scene that I left you guys with. I need you guys to give me feedback as to which to go with!

1. Nicole and Quinn meet a new mysterious guy/possibly attacked? possibly attempted kidnapping?

2. They mess with Quinn's mate and that maybe happens later in the story?

Also, I do realize you don't know his name yet, don't worry. You will find out soon enough :)
